yes I'm proud to be a member my church where I got confirmed in what An awesome church to go to if your in the Mt Carmel PA 17851 or Shamokin PA 17872 areas the word orth-or-dox from the word greek meaning right belief if you never have been to an orthodox church then come see what an orthodox church has to offer it is the true church with true believers of people we at St Michael's OCA Church here in Mt Carmel PA 17851 comes from all walks of life we our a catholic rooted bible based church that welcomes young and old alike the we have a great choir witch I sing on and i rings the bells at times we as orthodox church a member of the oca are not under the pope of rome but we our faith followers of Jesus Christ the orthodox church goes back 2000 years threw jesus time we pray to the Mary the most and ever blessed lady Theotokos mother of god we also pray to the holy saints and angels threw Jesus Christ our priest in very nice he welcomes you with god holy love as Christ has love you our church members are very faithful and if your confused this ask one of them Thank You Kyle Schu

Beautiful church which offers authentic and traditional worship. Very welcoming and active community. Classes and activities are offered outside of the usual Sunday worship.
