Wonderful, welcoming Greek Orthodox Church in East Pittsburgh. I first came here to try some food for the Greek festival and to watch some of the amazing performances, but the spiritual experience is also something incredible. Food wise, I got to try the Loukoumades (honey donut balls), moussaka, meatballs, and pilaf. Everything was delicious. The meatballs were generously coated in a hearty tomato sauce and were cooked well and flavorful. The rice pilaf was soft and really soaked up the excess tomato sauce well. The moussaka I'm not the biggest fan of, but I could still tell it was homemade and fresh. It's just a bit rich for me. But the dessert honey balls were really nice, not too over the top and really hit the sweet spot. The dancers were very talented at the Greek festival and anytime they have events here. Great music too, and very energetic. There are also icons and other Orthodox materials for sample on the inside, and all of that looked very spiritually inspirational. God bless!

Had a wonderful time, all of the food was delicious we ordered the spanakopita, tiropita, pastitsio, dolmades, and the green beans. All, we thought, reasonably priced- $29 total. Also got several deserts and enjoyed them all. The traditional dancers were great and so was the band. Really great idea for dinner!

The dinner entrees at the food festival were ridiculous. The picture is a $10 piece of moussaka. It was barely 2inches by 2 inches. Likewise for the pastitsio. Same size container, barely any more food. The beef stifado, with "melt in your mouth beef" had beef cubes that were not cooked long and were tough. The gyros were good. Unfortunately, they really missed the mark this year.

Fabulous. Great food with friendly folks serving.. I wish this was a monthly event. Without any restaurants locally, this is our only chance to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine.

Don't miss their Greek Festival next August. The music, dancing, and food are an annual treat. Delicious pastitsio and tiropita.
