This is my church. There’s some great mini musicians and artist there. They have an artist and residence that should be starting up in September or October that runs through June. Free classes first Saturday of each month. They teach guitar, songwriting, poetry, other writing, Painting, a oils and sketching and watercolor. I just love it. I’m so glad and I found it because of the artist and residence, and then I joined the church because of the friendliness of all the people there. And a fantastic pastor Dr. Sherry Blackman! They have a hiker center for people on the Appalachian Trail where they can stay and get help resources, showers, food, etc. and it’s a ministry of the church. Please come and visit the church. Services are on Sunday 10 AM.

We were members, moved away, and now we're back. It's a quaint church, with lots of outstanding mission work locally, nationally, and internationally. We're the little church that does. It's a very welcoming congregation and the minister is the best. Visitors are welcome. In the summer months we're a popular stop on the AppalachianTrail with our hikers center, the oldest on the AT.

A true community Church where everybody knows your name and the minister is outstanding. Offers overnight, showers and support for Appalachian Trail hikers, Sunday evening free concerts in the home town of many top musicians. Christmas midnight service music is astounding! The town's annual Celebration Of The Arts draws huge crowds, especially on Sunday for the Church of the Mountain Jazz Mass. It rocks. Sermons are always thought provoking, intelligent and strangely in target for everyone. Sherry, the minister, is a brilliant, loving, kind person. A truly inclusive church community that welcomes all.
