Founded in 1786, Mt. Hermon Baptist Church is the second oldest Baptist church west of the Allegheny Mountains. We are a friendly, casual congregation focused on creating a welcoming environment for all. Our Sunday services at 11 a.m. feature great music, a message from our pastor, and fun, safe kids programming. We also offer Sunday school at 10 a.m. and Bible study on Thursdays at 7 p.m.
Our ministries include:
- Children's Ministry (Bible Buddies): For PreK through 5th grade, with Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings.
- Youth Group (Ascend): For 6th through 12th grade, meeting weekly and participating in Christ-centered activities.
- Women's Ministry (Daughters of the King): Led by Pastor Steve's wife, Lisa, with events like backpack making and community outreach.
We are committed to spreading the Gospel locally and globally, supporting mission work through various organizations. Our facilities include a historic brick meeting house, updated over the years, and we host events like Vacation Bible School and a Men's Retreat.
Pastor Steve Ramey leads our congregation, and our staff includes dedicated leaders in youth and children's ministries. We invite you to visit us at 200 Banetown Rd, Amity, PA 15311, or contact us at 724-222-2535 or stevenrmy@yahoo.com for more information. Meet the staff.
