Mount Hope Church

Mt. Hope United Church of Christ is a welcoming congregation nestled in the Blue Knob area of Pennsylvania, offering a warm, family-oriented atmosphere. Our congregation includes a diverse mix of professionals, farmers, retirees, and younger members, with a growing community since 2020. As part of the United Church of Christ denomination, we host Sunday services at 11:00 AM and a joint service at 10:00 AM on the first Sunday of each month. Our facility is accessible to people with disabilities, and we sponsor the annual Greenfield Charge Vacation Bible School for children ages 3 and up.

Mt. Our congregation includes professionals, farmers, retirees, office workers, homemakers, blue-collar workers, and younger members, with a growing community since 2020. Fellowship is an important part of our life together, as we value building meaningful relationships within our church family. In May, we host the Blessing of the Fields service, and we sponsor the annual Greenfield Charge Vacation Bible School, typically held in July for children ages 3 and up.

We are active in the Juniata Association of the Keystone Conference and the Claysburg Ministerium, helping us stay connected with the wider church and our local community. Mission is central to who we are, supporting a variety of ministries through our Church’s Wider Mission offerings, as well as the local food bank and other outreach efforts. Our facility is accessible to people with disabilities, and we welcome all to experience faith, fellowship, and community with us.
