I cannot say enough wonderful things about Midtown Community Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. During one of the darkest and most difficult seasons of my life, when I was escaping an abusive situation, this church truly showed me the love of Christ in action.🫂💓 They welcomed me with compassion, kindness, and genuine concern. They took time to sit with me, listen to me, pray for me, and simply be present. In a moment where I felt overwhelmed and afraid, they made sure I was somewhere safe until I could find a more permanent solution. Their care was not performative or superficial — it was sincere, humble, and deeply Christ-like. What impacted me most was their character. They are true servants of the Lord who care deeply for people and minister with honesty, humility, wisdom, and love. You can feel that their hearts are truly centered on Jesus and serving others well. I will forever be grateful for the compassion they showed me during such a vulnerable time in my life. It was an honor to meet them, and I will always remember the kindness they extended to me. God is clearly moving through this ministry, and I am excited to see all that He continues to do through Midtown Community Church in the future. 💓

A welcoming place for anyone walking in. Great staff, and a great congregation. Discovered this church on Google Maps and like to go here from time to time. If you’re in mid town, or looking for a new place to go to, this is a good place to go. Great walking location from many places in Harrisburg. Come on and check it out!
