Whatever you do, don't have a medical emergency during the service....Particularly if you are elderly don't you dare fall because the senior pastor will get annoyed that you interrupted his speech and pulled attention from people away from him speaking and on to you to make sure you're in stable condition. I was visiting and I'm still in shock. The man stood on stage and ignored this poor elderly fellow who collapsed 6 rows back, talking over the whole thing until emt's arrived. Then, when he lost everyone's attention he finally stopped and said something along the lines of "so everyone is looking over there and not up here so let me acknowledge it. I don't know who it is but I know the people around and they are fine so let's say a prayer and then pay attention to me again. Is that ok with everyone?!." The man was actually annoyed people were not paying attention to him and distracted as he was taking over this patients emergency. And his only concern was not the well-being of his congregation, not the welfare of this elderly man but that people were listening to the witticisms and many sports analogies he had prepared. I've never seen a more self centered "look at me" pastor in my life! Perhaps he should have paid more attention to the last week's guest speaker who talked about 1st John and how if you love people you are in the light, and if you don't love people you are living in darkness. Or perhaps 1 Corinthians 13 where it says "if I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing." I have never seen a pastor that had so little love or care for people, particularly in his own congregation. To the extent he was only annoyed something like a medical emergency happened to interrupt his message. Even the prayer he gave over the man was more of an excuse of an acknowledgement specifically in order to move on. He revealed his character in full. When someone tells you who they are, listen. And believe them. I was furious! I stayed long enough to ascertain that this was indeed a head pastor and not a guest and then I walked out. This is a beautiful church on the surface. Beautiful building, it has all the guile of riches and big budget production, with giant projectors anda full band ....... But they forgot the ONLY thing that matters which is the love of Christ for the people. My advice to you church administration is to read Matthew 23 very very very carefully. And then reflect and repent. My advice to everyone else is find a church that isn't "a white washed tomb pretty on the outside but filled with dead men" but had the love of Christ and the gifts of the Spirit. I will be too.

It feels morally incorrect to rate my church anything less than 5 stars 😂 But seriously, this church has been great. The church that my family used to go to made it a little difficult to connect and get invested but LEFC provides a ton of opportunities to serve. They even offer opportunities to the youth. The church is pretty big but they offer the choice to connect to a life group which I would highly recommend so that you have a smaller group of people that you can connect to on a personal level. The staff is super kind and inviting too.

Top notch exegetical, gospel-centered, preaching and teaching. The pastors have been responsive, down-to-earth, helpful and friendly; which at a church this large says quite a lot. Hope to get more involved over the year we are in Lancaster.

Appreciated the enthusiasm of Gary! Intrigued by "What We Believe" . . . very biblically based. Inspired by genuineness of Bob, Janet, and Jeff. Later, I was greeted by Danielle. In the short conversation, I felt valued. I'm guarded with churches from past experiences. However with LEFC, I felt genuinely valued. Isn't that how Jesus impacted the world?
