  My wife and I were attending a wedding one weekend in nearby Pottsville, so we wanted to attend a local church service since we were free on Sunday morning. We searched online and decided Grace Free Church seemed appropriate for us and indeed it was. We were glad we didn't need to dress up to attend the service and we had the feeling that there were no expectations we needed to meet. We were warmly greeted and one older lady named Carol took it upon herself to converse with us for a while before the service began. The music was contemporary Christian music and the pastor's message was relevant and based on the Bible, in particular the book of Nehemiah. He explained how Nehemiah knew his mission and purpose in life and didn't let distractions and threats stop him. How much better this world would be if more people were like him? I would recommend this church to any who value a Bible-based church!

  I love taking my teenage boys here. They actually listen to the sermon, which is such a blessing. The sermon doesn't feel or sound like what you would typically think of when you hear that word and think old school churches, but it is still biblical truth. LOVE IT! ❤️

  Grace is a welcoming place for all who already know God and for all who are wondering if God and Christ might fit the hole in their heart and life. Grace is a church without expectations and rules. Grace is a place where there is nothing to learn to fit in and nobody is watching and judging. You can't tell who is a "member" or not a member and you don't feel weird if your family hasn't gone here for generations. Grace has coffee and cookies, Grace welcomes newcomers but without smothering you. Grace keeps seats open in the back so if it is your first time you can just kind of slip in, even if you're late. Grace has a place for your children. Grace has great worship music with words on the screen and Pastor Ott and guest pastors preach a current message that is from the Bible. You are Loved everywhere by God and Jesus and you are certainly Loved Here by the people of Grace.

  Im not much of a church person so it was a little uncomfortable but the service was nice. Its different than the traditional church. The pastor was great. The singers were excellent. I liked the overall message. I think you can see a different perspective. I liked that you can dress casual.

  The children's programs are awesome! When you first walk in you are greeted with a sign that says "you are loved" and it is so true. Great people and amazing sermons. I am so thankful that I get to be a part of the Grace Free family.

  I was lost for over 20 years, a really good friend and myself wanted to find our way back to God so we researched local church's and gave this place a shot. All I can say today 4 years later is, God is great. Come give Grace free church a try. It's not your average church. It's not "CHURCHY" at all .

  It’s said many times at Grace Free that you are loved there and after almost a year of going, I have felt that. A fun atmosphere to worship God and learn more about not only his words but yourself as well!

  Life changing. That's all I can say. The people here are real. No one here comes with that "make believe" dream life. We all come with our "baggage" and no ones judged here. These people here are my family, brothers and sisters.
