Encounter Church is a great place for anyone who has different learning styles than just sitting and listening. There are times when we sit and listen, but there’s other times where we serve, eat meals together, worship and pray together, pray as family/friend groups, do hands on activities, and practice carrying out the message that is being shared. This community of people is so kind and welcoming and they genuinely care about the people who walk through their doors!

Encounter Church is a community of people on fire for God, that care deeply about practicing what is preached. I love how interactive and intentional each service is. Different service types help teach and allow all kinds of learners to grow in Christ. They make an effort to include everyone. If you're looking to be stretched in your faith and experience church through tangible encounters with the very word and presence of God, this is the place to be.

My family loves Encounter! The worship is amazing and the variety in service types is helpful to keep my attention, challenge my comfort levels and help me interact with my husband and kids in church like I’ve never been asked to do before. The people are genuine and kind and it feels welcoming when we come in. Where has this church been?!? I’m so glad we are a part of Encounter!

I've attended various churches (and denominations) since I was a baby, and Encounter is the first church I've been a part of that is taking a different approach to how Sunday services can look. As someone with ADHD, the fact that Encounter Church offers more than just the typical '3 songs and a sermon' format makes it so much easier for me to engage and really learn. The people are friendly and welcoming. The music is modern and well done. Pastor Greg's preaching is on point. My 8 year-old loves the kids program and my teenagers enjoy being a part of the service. Hear it: My teenagers never complain about going to church. If you're sick of the same old thing and looking for something different, you'll love Encounter Church.

A breath of fresh air. God has communicated to humanity in so many ways and the bible demonstrates this clearly. Encounter recognizes this and structures their services to allow for God to work as HE sees fit instead of telling him that he as to work as humans see fit. Whether it is from the worship, the sermon, the prayer of a friend, serving another person, an intuition during prayer or over a communion meal, there's no shortage or ways I've heard God speak to me and more importantly change me while attending. It is different here. It can be uncomfortable at times, but God is always giving me what I need and not what I want and that journey and the deep purpose/meaning of it, is worth the discomfort. I highly recommend people to invest their time here. Activate and participate in your faith journey at Encounter.

Encounter Church is the more I was longing for out of a church. Encounter is biblically focused. Encounter is a place for every type of learner. They are creative, intentional, and community focused. I love being a part of a church that engages people in so many different ways and focuses on Jesus and the Bible so intently.

I absolutely LOVE Encounter Church! My family has been attending for over a year now. I love that we have Worship and Prayer nights, Serve Sunday and Communion is a shared Meal together.

Such a great community of people who truly want to be there every single week to worship together. Their unique schedule keeps things interesting, and I look forward to encountering God in a different way every week. Rather than just sitting and listening every single Sunday, they share the mic, have hands-on lessons, volunteer, and laugh together. Go check them out!
