I am extremely prejudiced about this place, because it is my home church. Construction began in 1868, using local 3 foot stone, an architectural staple of other buildings in town built in the 19 century. Consecrated in 1896, this incredible house of worship houses a rare reverse tracker organ. Interestingly, the local Masonic Temple also sports one of these organs. The window pictured is called the Mercur (Rose) Window, placed in memoriam to the wife of a Pennsylvania Superior Court Head Justice. It's in the back of the church and stretches up nearly 70 ft. Other memorial windows are a who's who of local residents, many of whom have streets named after them. A small but strong congregation resides here, as well. A MUST visit if you're in the area. even with reduced office hours to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during covid. Or please come to worship, every Sunday at 10AM.
