  Nothing says "well adjusted" like receiving a full page (front and back) rant in my mailbox from a Sheila Tice, rallying against the usual targets of religious extremism like evolution and talking about God's wrath as if fear is the best reason for faith. Thankfully, I have found my religion elsewhere.

  Best pastor and church of all time. Honestly Jesus used this place and pastor Matt not only to save me. But my relationship. My family was split and are not only back together but MARRIED! My father and many friends have come to Jesus through this place. They go verse by verse only teaching the bible not the pastors opinion. Pastor Matt has spent countless hours counseling me and my family. This place is like no other church you’ll ever go to. He makes it relatable. Real. And straight from the Word of God.

  New church for me everyone very friendly and welcoming wed nights they go over old testament and New testament on Sundays. Good history lesson big you want to know the Lord. Only been couple of times and a picnic and watched a baptism they have Sunday school that's great.

  Hello everyone this my experience do not judge me for it . I have been visiting the church for a month now with my kids every time I walk to or in the church I have not been greeted not once minus the person who invited me the pastor sat right behind me and walk right by me and did not say a word but I see other new comers to the church and they are greeted and welcomed. I have to find my own comfort and pretend I am in the church alone so I can drown out the negativity that the devil is trying to put in my head the devil lives in the church as well . Just curious who goes to church to not feel welcomed . The only reason I am giving this church a chance is for my kids because they enjoy Sunday school. God will guide me if this is not place . I have visited many churches I never been treated this way . May God bless everyone.

  Excellent teaching by God the Holy Spirit through Pastor Matt Fisher. I have definitely matured in my walk with Christ since going to this church. The love of Christ flows richly here, and God has transformed my heart for His glory. The children's ministry is also excellent and true to God's Word. We love our church home!

  Calvary chapel of Sciota is Awesome! Everyone is very friendly. I just had to bury my Dad and everyone is very supportive and kind through this agonizing pain. Pastor Tony, Mike and Linda, went above and beyond and did an incredible job. Also Pastor Matt is a gifted preacher. He preaches verse by verse and keeps it simple We really enjoy his honesty and kind compassionate card to Dad before Jesus took him home and also enjoy that he never talks down the middle of the road. Other denominational churches who preach down the middle of the road can take lessons from Pastor Matt

  Our home church and awesome place to worship Pastor Matt Fisher is second to none in bible teaching. Verse by verse teaching/preaching. Parking is adequate, everyone if friendly. Dress is casual and you don't see many suits, everyone is pretty laid-back. Services are 9am and 11am Sunday, 7pm Wednesday. Great children's programs and active growing youth group. Culturally and ethnically diverse congregation, spanning many age groups/ranges. Men fellowship first Saturday of each month, Ladies fellowships too. If you're looking for a life long church home your welcome at Calvary Chapel

  My family has been going here now for 10 years. Been a delight being a part of this church family. Pastor Matt teaches the Bible in a different way from other churches in area. He leaves no page unturned. Book by book, verse by verse.

  I went to the 4 of july party.. I'm so glad I did. I do not go to church here,yet. Everyone is so nice and reach out, even with people they don't know. My 16 year old daughter even liked being there. I hope to go to church there in a few weeks. We have been looking for a church to go to, but many churches are clicky. This church is not at all like that.

  Went to Calvary Chapel Stroudsburg once was hooked on the power of the Holy Spirit there, now my home base to share, grow and strengthen with God's Kids in Christ.
