Pastor Jeff was an amazing pastor and will be greatly missed. Praying for Josh as he begins a new. I was always made to feel welcome by the both of them. I will miss this place alot as I was asked not to attend here anymore by a member. God bless.

I just left the 10:30 service w my 18 yr old & boyfriend. I moving here from Texas in June & was HOPING people would see us as visitors & say hello. We arrived at 9:40 & not one person bothered to greet us let alone say hello & welcome. While I’m sorry your Pastor has passed & moved on to Heaven, we will be attending other churches to hopefully find where we fit. Finding a church where my son is welcomed is important as well. Thank you!

Great church been going there for almost 40 years Woke up this morning to find out that pastor Jeff had past away . I was in complete shock and awe! He has done a great job at this church for over 35 years ! He will be missed ! " to be absent from the body , is to be in the presence of God ! " " well done good and faithful servant " as for David Cristellos's review hey David. Pastor Jeff was spot on about the Olympics opening ceremony ! And why for you people , you guys always want the world to change for you ? You guys love freedom of speech , only if it's speech you agree with ! You guys say you are tolerant , but only tolerant of people who agree with your beliefs and agenda !

The good: Allison Park Church is a modern, large, and energetic congregation that emphasizes a personal relationship with Jesus (over a ritualistic one or ' at a distance' one). It's deeply impactful to be around on a personal level. The worship music is fantastic, and the energy and style of preaching are often impactful. In that vein, it follows the common 'nondenominational' approach that many (myself included) find so refreshing. The kids' ministry is engaging and fun. The (hidden) not so good: They are often tone-deaf when addressing social situations. I remember sitting in the audience when the preacher talked about his disgust at the opening of the Olympics, and then mentioned the murder of Breanna Taylor. Citing both as 'injustices'. This felt wildly off balance (to put it mildly). There is often a lack of recognition of national struggles (immigrant, BiPOC) with an overemphasis on saving communities overseas via mission trips. Finally, their stance on the LGBTQ community. APC does not openly disaffirm the LGBTQ community, often presenting a welcoming stance to 'all' without explicitly stating their position on it (rarely, if ever, preaches on it, and nothing is mentioned on the website). After attending for awhile and being informed of our stance, we were invited to have a sit-down with the pastoral team and were told bluntly that 1. The LGBTQ community represents its 'own' religion (given they have their own parade and month) 2. They would welcome anyone from the LGBTQ community, insofar as they were open to God / APC community helping them move beyond it / change 3. And that it was 'not a safe place' (direct quote) for people who identify and have no desire to 'change.' It was certainly deflating to hear their stance after there was a lot of hand-waving about their position during our time there. As I've dug into the Bible, I've come to realize there is a clear, Bible-based, affirming position (as many Methodist and Presbyterian congregations have, but also other nondenominational ones too ). I hope APC can evolve in their position, as I believe the team there deeply desires to walk the path of Jesus. Churches can change positions (as the church has been able to do so many times over, from positions on segregation, to women's leadership, etc), and I pray APC can do this as well.

Very welcoming. Has a lot of small groups so even though it's a large church it doesn't feel that way. We raised our kids and a big part of doing that was them attending the youth groups there. Never boring to them, and they learned so much about truly what it means to have a relationship with the Lord, they also learned leadership, there's even a fine arts program whereby my kids got scholarships to colleges. No kidding. It's a wonderful place right in Allison Park!

Pastor Jeff is one of the last of the few good men I know. He was a hero of mine, and the main reason I continued to attend Allison Park church. He was a man of integrity and faith.

Great experience as visitors for the Wacky Factory Easter Egg Hunt program for children. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Nicely organized environment. I would definitely consider visiting again.

I went to ministry school here and attended my first service at a time I needed Jesus and his people most. The ministry school is a great experience and the church services are exhilarating. These people love God. I'm grateful for my time and all my experiences at Allison Park Church. The Leadership will take great care of you and lead you the best they can. The Leaks are great people and love helping others.
