    Very warm welcoming people! Got to meet with the Pastor and many of their leaders. All very friendly and welcoming. Quite easy to spot the church once you understand it’s on a hill. Definitely a place I can see many calling home.

    It is not just a church, it is a family. My second home. I began attending in Feb of 2017. I was apart of the youth group for about 3 years, before transitioning into Hyphen (ages 18-30). If you are looking for a place for your child to grow in Godly truth, this is it. The youth pastor and his wife are truly amazing people, as well as the Pastor and his family. Everyone is warm and welcoming, and there is something for every age group. The Sunday school classes for ages 4-12, Thrive Discipleship Class, Tuesday Night Youth and Adult Bible study, and Hyphen activities and bible study. I went in 4 years ago, not knowing what to expect, but I never left because it is the place I know I will grow in my faith. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty. Nothing but the truth. Come and see for yourself. ❤️

    I am a true believer in the Messiah name Jesus Christ. I was introduced to Pentecostal Church just recently around January 11th, 2026. It's pretty intense to watch people dance around, speak gibberish, and hop up and down while the Reverend continues his preaching. I was introduced to a man named Travis, he was irregular who went to church daily. He introduced me to his fellow associates. The strangest thing about this was he kept hagging me saying, "it's okay?" 🙄 They have a group on Thursday called Changing Lanes (Recovery / Bible Study). I walk into the door. The same guy comes up to me and starts hugging me saying, "it's okay. You're finally here?" ☹️ I'm a transgender MTF Two-spirit native American woman. I truly believe in the blood of Christ. At the end of the group, the facilitator states 'what if a male gender prefers to have a mentor that's a woman? The hugger states, "No, it's because some people might do funny business while being here..." 🫤 When the groups over, the 'hugger' begans to hug me again saying, "you did a good job, it's okay, your safe..." 🙄 I come from the streets, I identify myself as a woman in recovery, self independent individual, and true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. I don't appreciate the way I was introduced to this congregation. Yes, I do read the scriptures. I quote: "Jesus himself was betrayed by a hug and kiss..." May God bless you all. {KSK}

    We left 20 minutes into the 915 service this morning due to a very very disrespectful and unkind greeter/usher who made a disrespectful comment towards my fiance which based our decision to leave. We will not be tolerating disrespect and unkind comments towards her and or me at all. We'll not be returning until this issue is resolved via contact with the pastors 😡😡😡😡😡😡

    The Portland Pentecostals are the real deal… the pastoral team and Hansen family are first class! We spent a week facilitating a workshop that they hosted for us and their teams went above and beyond all expectations. Thank you! We can’t wait to return!

    I attend Portland Pentecostals as a member. From the very first service, people were friendly and welcoming. The pastor and other leaders have made me feel like I am family, it makes me feel like I want to be there. It’s a great place to find God because you feel safe and loved, and people who are sharing the love of God. There you will find truth, and a freedom to worship God with others who are also worshipping God

    Went to church for fellowship and worship and the congregation was awful. As I was walking out the building I was called a dirty lesbian. All because I was wearing my work clothes because I had to go to work at 1:30pm after church. I don’t appreciate the hostility of the environment and how the pastor said “no one would in our congregation would do that” when my friend told him what happened. Do better. THIS is why young people don’t feel welcome in church. I won’t be coming back due to the hostility and unwelcoming environment. Highly recommend not calling new members derogatory slurs. If I’m not wearing a dress, I might as well be a lesbian. 🤷‍♀️

    The best church I've ever been too! I love all the people that attend. This church, Jesus Christ, and the people from this church are amazing! They have changed my life and me for the better and continue to do so.

    What a great church! Friendly greeters and a great Pastor who really cares about people. Music and singing is lively and contributes to the special presence of God in services every time I've been here!
