  They run a night shelter and even have a family section for families with separate rooms for each family, we we promised a room in the family section once our baby was born and they even reserved it for us, but now that our baby is born they are turning us away saying that we can't stay at all because there is someone there they think we would fight with, what kind of Christian place turns away parents with a newborn and makes them to stay on the street? They can't keep promises and they are the most sacreligeous people I know, I will never show them any respect after this and I hope others can see them for what they are

  Worked in Portland for a short period of time and attended this church online and in person a couple of times. The pastor has a heart for the community and those that attend are friendly, welcoming, and supportive.

  I was impressed with the dedication and service the staff and leadership here offers to the community of Portland. I was invited to play instrumental music for the emergency nighttime shelter they offer for our unsheltered friends. Everyone was so full of kindness and compassion.

  Either the church or residents from the shelter village below claims to own the lookout on Kelly Butte. I had a friend warn me about this, and it finally happened to me a few days ago for the first time even though I've walked that trail many times over the years. The city says otherwise. The church does not own any of Kelly butte except for the property down the hill. Feel free to call the city to verify if anyone tries to make you leave.

  Don't know about the church functions, looks to be an older crowd, but they serve free hot lunch on Sunday at noon that's always very good. They're friendly and offer other assistance for poor and unhoused folks without pushing religion on them.

  Violent street mob frequents this location and menaces, threatens visitors. Was considering contacting the church and inquiring about attending services while re-establishing myself in the area and I decided against it this morning after another violent incident. It seems like the church is endorsing the violent street mob and there may be members in its employ or in its membership.

  Let me and my wife sleep on the streets while others had Ubers bring them over to watch us be thrown out. To sleep outside. And it's a long line of youth who did not let there elders 😭 have warmth for months... Shameless …

  A beautiful church and a warming shelter for the homeless people, great professional staff. Must be there by 8:30 pm for check in, only 45 beds, check out 6:30 am

  I grew up with this church ..when Chuck and Carol SEIBOLD were alive and at church! My dad that raised me with my mom Bob and Linda Seibold.. God bless and thanku for this beutiful place

  Not Godly people at all, fake typical "this is mine" religious nonsense. They think they own Kelly Butte apparently even though the city says otherwise.
