  I’ve only been attending Family Worship Center for about four months, but it truly feels like I’ve been part of this church family for a lifetime. From the very first time I walked through the doors, I was met with warmth, open arms, and a genuine sense of belonging. It doesn't feel like an obligation to attend—there's no pressure, no guilt—just a sincere excitement to be around people who feel like family and to experience the presence of God together. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, full of love, and centered on truth. Every service feels Spirit-led, and the messages always speak directly to the heart. Since coming here, I’ve grown closer to the Lord in ways I never expected. I even made the life-changing decision to get baptized here, and it was one of the most powerful moments of my journey so far. Family Worship Center is more than a church—it’s a home. A place to heal, grow, and be surrounded by people who genuinely care. I’m so thankful God led me here, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to encounter Him in a real and loving community.

  I went to this church when I was a youth. I attended youth group every Wednesday for years, I loved it. We did a lot of efforts towards raising money and food for children effected by war and disease and famine. I continue to go to this church for holidays. My son is severely special needs so we dont go during the regular services because of the chaos that follows his happy squealing and running around but I consider this church where I didn't meet God but where I grew to understand the depth of his love and all he does for all of us. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

  Family Worship Center is a welcoming church for people of all generations and races. The pastoral staff is both friendly and supportive. This is a place where the Word of God is the first and foremost source material for all teaching. You know that you will receive sound doctrine from our pastors. There are activities that involve families, seniors, teens, men, women and children. I have attended since 2014 and have felt loved and a part of the church family from the beginning.

  When I moved here to Portland, I looked for a church that was family oriented and felt like home. I grew up in a four square church, and as I looked for a place to warship our king, I stumbled right around the corner right into Family Warship Center. This was a sign from God, for my family. From day one everyone greeted my family like we known each other for years. My family and I have been going to church for 10 years and love Family Warship Center since the pastors treat everyone like family. Family Warship Center is the place to find Jesus to save you. This where we can praise the Lord as a family. Thank you Pastor Joe, Andrea, and all church leaders at Family Warship Center.

  We absolutely love family worship center. The pastors are amazing and the services are always incredible. I have attended this church for 20 years now. I have never felt more accepted in a congregation. I have been baptized twice there. Once as a teenager and once as an adult. My heart is full every time I walk in. This church is truly a place that is so welcoming and everyone belongs. Andrea is an amazing leader and mentor for women and pastor Joe is incredible too.

  What an amazing church! For a long time, I felt alone and kept praying and asking God to guide me to a church where I could feel truly loved as Christ loves us—a place that could be like family. After three months of searching, 🥲God led me here. The first day I walked in, I was filled with joy. 😃The people welcomed me with so much love, care, and support.   A small multi cultural church where one can easily become like family. I love that one can feel free to worship in Spirit and in truth. A church with sound preaching of the Bible, at present they are going through the book of Ephesians verse by verse, and they give a comprehensive understanding of even challenging verses. A church family that is friendly, impacting and serving the community through acts for the homeless, local schools (students) and thru partnerships with other local organizations. Pastor Joe is welcoming, supportive and encouraging. The Church offers small groups to build strong spiritual health and personal growth. His wife Andrea has a wonderful Bible class on Tuesday morning I attend and I’m surrounded by loving ladies that share openly while maintain trust and hope in God. I have grown spiritually and am building genuine friendships.

  Family Worship Center you can feel the dynamic and personal work of the Holy Spirit I was baptized by Holy Spirit and Jesus continues to work in our life daily and individually. Family Worship Center welcome you and your family with open arms. The church is growing having Youth services on Sunday at 6:00 PM with Pastor Joey and Pastor Josh with younger kiddos. Pastor wife Andrea Franco has Wednesday women bible study at 6:30 PM. Our family just experienced being baptized on Sunday 2/23/2025, with my two young daughters ages 10 and 12 years old. The community in this church is amazing makes you comfortable no judgment of any kind. Jesus Christ loves us and come by in visit and experience the power of prayer it’s amazing.

  Family worship center is very much like the name implies. Pastor Joe is awesome along with his family. This church is very active with ministries and groups. Monthly baptisms, mens breakfast, women's groups and getaways. The nursery and children's pastor Josh is wonderful. If your looking for a church that welcomes with open arms this is the place.
