I grew up going to this church, coming back to the U.S. after living in S. Korea for several years, I was a little hesitant to return. I am so glad that I did! Everyone was friendly and welcomed me with a smile, lots of people remembered me. I have made so many relationships here! The preaching is Biblical and powerful, and I look forward to small groups every week! They are led by one of the members of the church, it is a relational environment where you can be transparent about your struggles and victories. You don't have to worry about being judged, or being pressured to share if you don't want to. I love the people and environment at Western Hills! So if you are looking for a place where people care about you for who you are, a pastor filled with the Holy Spirit who preaches directly from the Bible, a relational environment, and small groups. Than you should consider coming to Western Hills Church.

Whereas some churches have moved their meeting places away from this part of Oklahoma City, Together Church continues to serve both its geographical area and beyond, attracting younger families and others who want to grow in following Jesus as his disciples. I am involved in one of its discipleship groups and encourage you to become part of one.

Rarely do you find a church that lives up to its name but this one does. We worship our wonderful Lord together, pray together, meet together outside the walls of the church building, genuinely care for one another together, seek to reach out and share Christ with others together, study God’s Word together, make disciples together, weep together when someone is hurting, and rejoice together. I moved to the OKC area about a year and a half ago from the east coast (PA/NY area). I tried several churches before being invited to Western Hills by some members that lived in the same apartment complex as me. They were clearly relationship-oriented, and the first message I heard at Western Hills was more Biblically based than any other church I had ever attended. The leaders at this church clearly and obviously hear God's voice and have constant relationship with Him. From what God has shown me and from what I have personally experienced AND witnessed from my entire life, Western Hills strives to be the closest thing to the Biblical church that I have ever seen. Relationship-focused, they don't try to put on a performance to 'convince' people to become Christians - they know that this is done by the Holy Spirit, and it is our job to have relationship. The church focuses primarily on reaching people through one-on-one or small group interaction, shepherding, and sharing of life (just as they did in the Bible!). The primary messages will challenge you and the world views you have. If you want to stand back and get lost in the background, this is not the church for you. If you want to be challenged to mature into what God is calling you to do and to hear the Biblical definitions of words that our society has re-defined, this is the church for you. If you like a fancy show, a blingy production that makes a loud flashy impact on your emotions but never actually challenges you or prompts you to action towards God, this is NOT the church for you. If you are tired of the "babe's milk" and want to move your life towards maturity and making a difference in the lives of others, if you want to join a family that strives to support each other and is transparent and honest, than come see what Western Hills is all about!
