Most of the staff tend to protect the community and not the residents. They play favoritism and refused to give extensions to those who are reaching goals to better their life and giving extinction to those who are doing nothing to try to get away from homeless. They didn't help with anything they said they were going to help with and only informed me of their inability to get these things done a few weeks before they gave me an exit date letter. When I asked why I was denied I was told I didn't reach my goals and I have reached every goal I set to do except for the one they were supposed to help me with. I do not recommend coming to this shelter if you are serious about getting help to get away from being homeless.

Some of the most caring people, I'd gave 5 stars but unlike Tampa Salvation Army. Their still thrown into the lion's den. Not enough programs for the people.

It is nothing like the one in Oklahoma City. It only has 8 beds for the women, 18 for the men and 4 family suites that can't even be called suites. bunk beds a bathroom and that's it. It needs to be updated badly. The homeless are turned away with no help and no where to go except the streets. I do not recommend this shelter.

First time, very nice lady helped me with information and food pantry items. Fresh food and canned goods. I am lucky I have a place to live and cook. Pray for those who don't please. Thank you again.

They are very kind, and very good people working there! They don't judge you! I don't understand the negativity remarks, because everyone I've met is nice and non judgemental!

Terrible place to donate your things! They do not care to take things to give to others all they care about it how much labor the men have to do and how much “room” they have. Go to Good Will..or somewhere else because that’s where I will be going. Ridiculous waste of time with these people.

Everyone that works there have the love of Jesus in their hearts and they walk it out every single day by the things they do. Everyone that comes through the door are treated with dignity and kindness and they are willing to do whatever it takes to help!

Even if you lost job have no food they Won't help unless you are next to homeless elderly and or on some other sort of government assistance. If you just need a couple weeks assistance between jobs don't bother
