Details

The Rock Church is a Protestant congregation with locations in Goodyear, AZ; Peoria, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; and Leesburg, FL. Founded in 1997 by Pastors Kevin and M’Lisa Goff, the church is built on the principle of caring for people where they are in life, not where they’ve been. This message is reflected in its welcoming environment and community-focused programs.

The Rock Church emphasizes a contemporary worship style, with services lasting approximately 75 minutes. Sunday services are offered at multiple times, including 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 12:30 PM at the Goodyear location. The church also offers childcare for children from birth through fifth grade during services, making it family-friendly.

The church’s mission is to love God, love others, and serve the world. It is guided by core values such as biblical truth, the power of the Holy Spirit, and a commitment to reaching those who are far from God. The Rock Church is also known for its Foundations program, a 90-minute class designed to help newcomers and long-time members alike understand the church’s beliefs and practices.

The Rock Church provides a range of ministries and programs, including small groups, youth groups, and outreach initiatives. It also offers opportunities for visitors to connect with the community through guest services, prayer requests, and baptism events.

With a strong emphasis on community and spiritual growth, The Rock Church is described by many as a place where people feel at home. As one visitor noted, 'This church isn’t just a place to attend—it’s a family to belong to.' Read more about the church's mission and values.

Three years ago, God led my husband and I to this church, and it has been one of the greatest blessings in our lives. From the very first Sunday, we were welcomed with open arms and genuine love. This church isn’t just a place to attend—it’s a family to belong to. The atmosphere is filled with the presence of God, and every service leaves us feeling encouraged, challenged, and spiritually refreshed. Pastor Travis and Tami lead with such humility, passion, and dedication. They truly pour their hearts into every aspect of the ministry—teaching the Word, loving people, and creating a culture of authenticity and grace. Their leadership reflects Christ in every way, and their love for the church is evident in all they do. The community here is unlike any we’ve ever experienced. People truly care for one another, pray for each other, and walk through life together. My husband and I have grown so much in our faith, made lifelong friendships, and found a place where we can both serve and be served. If you’re looking for a church home where truth is preached, love is lived out, and Jesus is at the center of it all—this is the place.

Avoid Heartbreak – They’re All Users Their motto is, “We care about where you’re going, not where you’ve been.” But what they really mean is, “We care about what you can do for us, and that’s it.” After months of reflection, I genuinely believe they’re in it just to avoid having real jobs. It’s the only thing that actually makes sense. Unless you’re a best friend in the “inner circle,” they make false promises and say things that make you think they want to “build you up” and “see something in you” and make you a part of the church. But the truth is, they just want your energy to keep the lights on while they’re off on vacation or avoiding real life. They only care about optics, truly. Their finances aren’t transparent, and for good reason. They don’t want the congregation to know how funds are being used. All churches have hypocrites—wherever you have people, you have hypocrites. If it was simply people not living up to who they say they are, it would be disappointing but understandable. But this is different. Its a calculated attempt manipulate you and exploit your needs (love, community, support), raise your hopes, and keep it going as long as possible to get as much out of you as they can. And as soon as you’re no longer useful to them, they’re done with you. There is a reason for so many people leaving over the years. It’s a pattern, not a coincidence.
