Details
The Gate Church is a dynamic, Spirit-led congregation in Oklahoma City, founded on a vision of revival, healing, and transformation. Originally established as Cathedral of Praise World Outreach Center in 2006, the church was led by Bishop Tony Miller and Pastor Kathy Miller until 2021, when Bishop Tony passed away. Since then, leadership has transitioned to Pastors Holly and Jordan Roberts, continuing the legacy of worship, discipleship, and global impact.
The church emphasizes a deep relationship with God, rooted in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit. What we believe includes a commitment to the Trinity, salvation through Jesus Christ, and the importance of baptism and communion. The Gate Church is known for its welcoming atmosphere and diverse community, where people of all backgrounds are encouraged to grow in their faith and serve others.
Services are held every Sunday at 10 AM at 7700 N Council Road. For those who cannot attend in person, services are also available online. "It is an invitation to rediscover what the Church has always been called to be—a community where people learn to follow Christ together through everyday life." - Today was an incredible blessing. From the moment we arrived, there was a genuine sense that Christ was at the center of everything. The teaching was firmly rooted in Scripture, yet presented with clarity, humility, and practical application. The message beautifully wove together examples from Noah, David, Jesus, and the early church, continually pointing us back to God's faithfulness and our calling to faithfully steward what He has entrusted to us. What impacted me most was not simply the sermon, but the atmosphere. There was joy, authenticity, hope, and a true sense of belonging. I left encouraged—not burdened—and reminded that through Christ we are invited into lives of freedom, transformation, and faithful discipleship rather than remaining defined by our past or by labels the world places on us. The fellowship reminded me of Acts 2:42–47, where believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, prayer, and caring for one another. It felt less like attending a service and more like being welcomed into the family of God. I am deeply grateful for the warmth, biblical teaching, and Christ-centered worship we experienced today. We left with hope, joy, and a growing sense that we may have found the church family we have been praying for. May God continue to bless this congregation as they faithfully serve Him.

I felt the presence of God when I set foot on the grounds for my first in-person visit! I came from Shreveport Louisiana for Mother's Day 2025 to visit my granddaughter. As I stepped out of the car I heard the Lord speak to me concerning the founder and the building. He said that because of his obedience, Pastor Tony Miller, to me this is his legacy. Tears rolled down my face in awe of God and His servant. I was standing in the fruit 🍑 of his labor. What an honor!

Great shade trees for lunch parking in the summer heat. Come home to the One True Catholic Church to learn the fullness of the Gospel.

It’s a place of God where you and your family feel like family. This church is multi generational and multicultural! There is The Gate Cafe which a must before church service! The child care is great and your children will enjoy it! My autistic son attended the children services and loved it! This is a church that with great staff and God at its center makes it a great church home!

The preaching is very good and the presence is there. There is a lack of fellowship there and that's not suppose to be. Also, it's like a lot of the people there do not like get outside the box and meet new people. If you are not a friend inside their little clique then they do not want to be bother with you.

My wife and I are always uplifted and encouraged in fellowship at The Gate. The staff is friendly and greet you with a smile. The diversity in our community is reflected in the congregation. The praise and worship is spirit filled. The word encourages me and provides the tools I need to grow. Regardless of where you are in your walk, you are welcome here with open arms.

Good church but not for people who have trouble walking! There is a very long hall with several doors that go into the sanctuary but ALL the doors are LOCKED and you have to walk about 2 city blocks to get inside the sanctuary!! I stopped going due to (not so great) handicap Accessibility.
