I really love this church. From the first time I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The community is kind, friendly, and everyone is very welcoming. The OCIA classes are thoughtful and open to questions, which I really appreciate. After being atheist for most of my life, this is the first church I’ve attended that actually makes sense to me. The services are absolutely beautiful. They even throw in the occasional joke, which I love. If you’re Catholic or just looking into finding faith, I definitely recommend attending Mass here.

I am ASHAMED to say I was raised in this church! I called asking for a can of formula since SNAP and WIC were out. You know what this TAX EXEMPT BUSINESS told me? Go somewhere else. Go somewhere else! So I called St. Eugene instead. They were willing to help feed a hungry baby. So I know it’s not the Catholic faith that denied me. Look within yourself and think about the choices you made when JESUS ASKED FOR HELP. Shame on you.

I cannot say enough positive things about this parish. The priest, deacons and parishioners are incredible. They make you feel welcome, comfortable and like your family. I am somewhat of an introvert and don’t open up very easily, but I feel like I’m at home at St. Philip’s. Everyone made it easy to relax and open up. This Chruch has a large attendance (by today’s standards), and it’s clear why. I found St. Philip Neri in the beginning of stages of retuning to my faith and it has been the biggest blessing. Fr. Wood has been instrumental in helping my faith grow and making me feel passionate about being Catholic. He is incredible! Hands down one of the best priests I’ve met. It is evident he loves being a priest and I feel he is truly guided by the Holy Spirit. It can be felt during his homilies and during the mass. Masses are reverent and focused on the importance of the Eucharist. Each of the deacons are amazing and I don’t want to give any of them less credit than they deserve, but I have to say Deacon Javier is probably one of the most genuinely kind people you will ever meet. His kindness and joy is contagious, you can’t be in a bad mood around him! :-) These are just some of the positives. I’d have to write a much longer review to include all the wonderful things St. Philip Neri has to offer!

Attended this church for the first time looking for a new parish family close to base. People were friendly enough, music was nice, but when we asked the greeter about a nursery for the kids to go he was confused and unsure if they had that and had to ask someone else. He mentioned you can get to it from the men’s room sometimes or we’d have to go out and go through the school. It was all very confusing for our first visit there. We decided to have our 2 and 5 year old sit in and enjoy mass with us. It was Pentecost. The priest started out great in his homily but soon was lecturing us about transgenders, how upside down things are when we can’t define what a woman is, it was pretty hate filled rhetoric and I didn't want my five year old having to listen to all of that. We have no plans on returning.

Well I am Protestant, but my little wife is Catholic and according to her St. Philip Neri has got it going on. Nice Church. Busy. Thoughtful. Mission Oriented. Focused on the message of "The Great I Am" Today is Good Friday and me and the believers are thankful for the purposeful sacrifice The Risen Lord of all, Jesus Christ, made for all of us. Thank you Master of the Universe !!!!!

Fr. Wood is wonderful. He is the best priest of any church I have been to in years. And the church is kept so beautiful.

What a beautiful setting for a beautiful service. I was a traveler looking for a place to stop and celebrate with others the Lent service. I found it at St. Philip Neri. A service in English and Latin with respect. Thank You.

So if I speak in tongues here I'm blessed. But do it in the streets and I'm crazy? Hypocrisy!
