My family and I have been attending St. John's for six years. We found it right when we moved to Norman and feel so lucky that we did! St. John's is warm and welcoming, not too large, and a great place to bring your kids. Our children have been involved in elementary, middle school, and high school activities. The congregation is always evolving with many people from the University (right down the street), and non-University people, too! The location is ideal for walking to Campus Corner after service for lunch, and I just can't say enough good things about the clergy. Please try St. John's if you are looking for an open-minded, positive church home.

My family just enjoys the feeling of community, the small but close youth group, great softball team :) and camaraderie in this church. My kids like that it's okay to think here, that you don't have to check your brains at the door before entering. We love the quiet solemn beauty of the Episcopal service, diversity of thought and discussion, a Christian community that (even in 2017!) would not have asked Galileo to recant... We've been going to St. John's since 2001.

St John's is an incredible church with a delightfully diverse congregation that offers many opportunities to serve the Norman community. I've been a member for almost 15 years and enjoyed so many wonderful experiences with the most amazing people! Most recently, my daughter and I participated a long-standing Vacation Bible School ministry in Watonga, Oklahoma. It was a truly transformative experience!
