The imam of the mosque accused me of not adhering to the rules because of his bad opinion of me, and he did not allow me to be given the password to enter the mosque, and he gave it to many other worshippers besides me, and he troubled me with other matters.

🕌 5/5 — A warm and welcoming place for worship and community! 🕌 I love praying at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City (ISGOC). The mosque has a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere and a strong sense of community. Imam Enchassi is a great speaker — his khutbahs are always insightful, well-chosen, and backed by strong references. He communicates in a clear and friendly way, making everyone feel valued and connected. ISGOC truly feels like a home away from home, where Muslims from all backgrounds come together in unity and peace. 🌙✨

A Welcoming Pillar of the Oklahoma City Community The Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City (ISGOC), also known as Masjid AnNasr, is far more than just a mosque; it is a vibrant, full-service community center that serves as a cornerstone for the Muslim population and a bridge to the wider Oklahoma City community. The Atmosphere & Community From the moment you inquire about visiting, the atmosphere at ISGOC is one of organized, intentional welcome. It is a diverse and family-friendly hub, bustling with activity, especially around prayer times and weekends. There is a strong emphasis on family, with numerous programs for all ages, from children's Sunday School to youth counseling and family services. The society is also certified by MUHSEN (Muslims Understanding and Helping Special Education Needs), demonstrating a commendable commitment to making the center accessible to community members with special needs, including accessible parking, entrances, and an elevator. Services & Programs This is where ISGOC truly shines as a comprehensive institution. Beyond the five daily prayers and the well-attended Friday (Jumu'ah) services, the society provides an extensive range of programs that serve the spiritual, educational, and social needs of its members. • Educational: ISGOC offers a wide variety of weekly classes, a Sunday School, and a Quran Institute for both children and adults. • Social Services: The center provides critical support, including family, youth, and pre-marriage counseling. • Charitable Work: Through its Mercy Mission Building, ISGOC houses the ICNA Relief Food Pantry and a Shifa Clinic, offering vital services to the wider community, regardless of faith. • Youth Groups: The partnership with the Muslim American Society (MAS) provides strong, engaging youth programs to help young Muslims connect with their faith and community. Outreach & Leadership A standout feature of ISGOC is its proactive and positive approach to interfaith relations and community outreach. Led by Dr. Imad Enchassi, a widely respected and award-winning figure in Oklahoma, the society actively works to build bridges and foster understanding. Their Dawah (Outreach) Program is not a passive entity; they actively invite schools, colleges, and other faith groups to schedule tours and observe services. This transparency and eagerness to educate are testaments to their role as a community leader, dedicated to promoting a balanced and accurate understanding of Islam. The Verdict The Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City is a model community organization. It is an indispensable resource for the local Muslim population, providing a clean, well-organized, and spiritually uplifting place for worship, education, and social connection. For the non-Muslim visitor, it is an open and welcoming institution that serves as an invaluable asset to the entire Oklahoma City metro.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم This is a beautiful mosque very quiet and relaxing AlhamduAllah. Today I've seen "Muslim" men eat and act like starving people at iftar time . The women that sat up the two tables the men table and the women table we added water and the children set up the dates beautifully , few minutes later two men come in set on the men side only some hot food and cake on only the **men side Only** the Athan goes off the"men"? Are rushing and even shoving the children compete flooded as lions in the wild never saw food and they eat even the crumbs . Didn't even ask the women if they wanted anything just completely shocked when saw that even the children were last Sobhan Allah . Can't imagine how people in Palestine feel . Then doesn't end there . A truck pulls up with food and Once again all the men were taking it to the men section I saw atleast 4 men go to truck and go back and just completely shaken and I am already light headed from also fasting. as I saw a pregnant woman watching her husband eat twice and the women looking at each other wanting food . I took matters into my hands after standing there twice watching the men eat and women not . I approach the man at the truck with the food and I said " can the women have some they have had none " He ask me how many is there " I say approximately 15 or more " he hands me 4 BoXes I go in to hand it naturally to the pregnant lady and one to the children and go back because the other women are looking at me. He hads me 3 more and tells me there is no more for the "women" as he hands the man next to me 10 plus boxes . AlhamduAllah it's not about the food. AlhamduAllah Allah is most merciful and it was the example you set for the children today and how the women who carried for 9 months and Mariam Aleha asalam w said while she was in labor with Isa aleh aslam from the labor pain she said " I wish I was dead and I have forgotten this" My son's saw me cry all the way home so much so that my son took a piece of bread and fed me in the mouth and said mommy I don't want to eat this . May Allah guide us All. Jazak Allah kher ya ummah
