This church has been a blessing to my family. The congregation and leadership are welcoming and genuine. It amazes me to see all that God is doing in and through the church. They have an addiction/recovery ministry, grief ministry, bus ministry, school, seminary, missions throughout the country and world... it is beautiful to see what God can do with willing workers. God's word is taught and preached in a very direct and complete way but just as important, is is being lived out in this wonderful church. Thank you, Beth Haven, for your dedication to the Lord. We see you and we thank God for you!

We moved down here to start a new life almost 4 years ago. My husband and I were on the brink of divorce, and about to lose our 4 wonderful children but we weren't quite ready to give up! The counselling at this church was absolutely life-changing, although it requires a lot of willingness and work! We are glad to call Oklahoma our home now, and thankful to be apart of a church that is so delicated to loving others!

I’m so very thankful the Lord led us to this church! My wife and I have grown in the Lord tremendously. We have learned so much from God’s Word. The preaching and teaching of God’s Word is very Biblical and helpful. Pastor Rick Carter and Pastor Josh Carter are men whom I truly believe walk with God and allow Christ to work in and through them. They both, through their lives and testimonies, challenge me to be a better man of God. I’m very grateful for their leadership and examples of living a Christ- honoring life. The folks of Beth Haven are a people with tremendous, compassionate hearts to minister to others through the love of Christ and His Word. I always look forward to the times where we worship and serve the Lord together.

My children have attended this church for nearly a year now but sadly may not be coming back. My children were invited to their summer camp and were very excited to go. My oldest daughter didn't have a good time because one of the female counselors wouldn't stop knit picking everything she did. I asked my other child what was going on and she said this adult was being rude to several kids. I text the counselor and was basically told that she feels justified for her behavior because she was a teacher for 27 years. When they got back, I tried to talk with Pastor Josh to get more information about what all happened. He started off by saying he believes his counselor over my child because my child cussed at the counselor on the bus ride home (both of my children and several of their friends denied this ever happened). I asked if he even took into account what both of my kids were saying. He said there was nothing to consider. When I saw the conversation wasn't going anywhere, I walked away. Pastor Josh then began shouting at me from where he was standing saying my child is the problem because she just doesn't like to follow rules. As we were walking to the car he shouted, "You're welcome for doing something nice for YOUR kids." All I wanted was to get both sides of the story but instead I was belittled and insulted. I got the vibe "we paid for them to go so we can treat them how we want." That's not reassuring for parents. Pastor Josh did apologize to my husband after being confronted. I have yet to receive an apology, which is odd because he told my husband he felt bad for how he handled himself.

I highly recommend this church if you are looking for a place to worship God. They were very welcoming and in no way made us feel like strangers. My family felt like we were at our home church. The word of God was preached by a man of God. The Pastors love for the Lord was very evident. Everyone was very friendly and if we are ever back in this area then this is the Church we will be attending.

I have never attended a church service here, only go here to vote. I have met the pastor before during the last presidential election. He was there helping to seat people who was waiting to vote. He is a very kind, genuine, soft spoken, caring mentality. With a heart for God and sharing God's message of salvation. I also met a few of the church members and I had the same good experience while conversing with them also.

There are very few Baptist churches in America that are straight on their doctrine AND have love and compassion for others, this church is one of those rare jewels. We were members for 2 years before being transferred out of state, and we have only praise and love for this church. If you are looking for a church home my suggestion is try it for a few weeks like we did before we joined, don't just write it off based upon a "rubber stamp" review or two, I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised. No - the Pastor doesn't look down on anyone, no there is no tape measure to measure a woman's skirt length, no there is no committee at the door to evaluate your appearance before entering the church or any such non-sense. Don't get me wrong, I've been to IFB churches that do indeed look down, measure, and evaluate at every service, this church is NOT one of those places. If I had to describe this church in one sentence it would be this: A spirit filled, love motivated, Baptist church that makes Christ happy, and the Devil really uncomfortable.

Great family-oriented church. This church has a real heart for missions, local and abroad. Sermons taught directly from the Bible. Great music. Many ministry facets including an AWESOME Addictions and Grief Recovery Ministry.

This is an Independent Fundamental Baptist church. You will love it if you are attracted to a church with a very strict dress code (women are expected to wear long dresses, no sleeveless shirts) and men are expected to wear suits and ties. You are expected to only use a KJV Bible. They will be very kind and friendly to you if you visit and join, but you will be expected to meet very strict standards if you want to be accepted and allowed to participate in teaching, music, or other ministry. You will also be expected to maintain these standards outside of church, including women wearing dresses only, giving up all alcohol, and not going to movie theaters. Also, you will be encouraged to "give up" most non Christian music, as well as contemporary Christian music, and any music with drums. Anyone who does not conform to these standards is assumed to be an "immature" Christian. Good people, who are worshiping the Lord in their own way. However, you may get in pretty deep before you realize all the extra-biblical restrictions they impose on you, so I would highly recommend reading your Bible and deciding if you agree with their creative interpretations of the scripture before getting involved. Actually, I just recommend a good Southern Baptist church or non-denominational that teaches straight scripture. BSF (Bible study fellowship) is also a great way to learn about God without any weird interpretations being imposed on you. I attended an "Independent Fundamental" Baptist church for 15 years. It gets very frustrating to be held to "standards" from the 1950's that are not at all found in the Bible - especially for women. And it is very hard to leave, after you've been told for so many years that any other Bible church is "backslidden" if they don't use the ye olde KJV Bible. So I encourage you, study the scriptures before getting involved. There are many wonderful churches to choose from in OKC. God bless.
