Services are held in person on Sundays at 10:30am Sundays @ 10:30am. Free parking is available in the north & east lots as well as the parking garage on Sundays until 2 p.m. If parking in the garage, you will need to bring your ticket into church and receive a validation sticker Attend In Person - Sundays at 10:30am. The church has a rich history, beginning with the establishment of the Auraria and Denver City Methodist Episcopal Mission in 1859. The church purchased land at the corner of 14th and Lawrence Streets and built the 'Lawrence Street Church,' which was completed in 1865. In the next ten years, Denver City's population grew significantly, leading to the relocation of the church to its current location at 18th and Broadway Our Story. The new building, completed in 1888, is one of the finest examples of 'modern Gothic' architecture in the United States.
