I'm gonna come clean and not sugarcoat none of my feelings. When I first attended a Rock City service I remember walking by the church 2 years ago when volunteers for the 5:00 service were welcoming everyone in and 2 of them recognized me from Dream Center and they begged me to come in. The minute the band came out I was immediately moved and amazed by the energy. Coming to this church I thought I finally found a church that I can call home but when I was kicked off the church team that all started to change. I lost a lot of my self-esteem in this church. I was told to hold off on serving last year when signed up for the Christmas shoe drive because I was having meetings with my campus pastor and 2 colleagues and I learned some things about myself in our first meeting. Flash forward this month of June in 2025 I had enough and I couldn't suppress my feelings anymore what I said got to the Short North campus pastor and then 3 days later he called me and told me I was no longer welcome. After we hung up I was a little upset but then I started to decompress and that was my turning moment. The truth is; Short North's campus pastor and Chad Fisher the head pastor they can't teach me and I can't teach them. My Pastor and I gave up on each other. I can grow and be better but it's not at Rock City my faith doesn't belong there. All I can say is.... Thank you. God bless you all.

All I'm going to say is: Praise God for showing me a good church that I can get to using public transit!

Love this church been going here for 2 years! Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. Rock city is really big on serving and bringing people to Christ. They are always helping the community in some sort of way. Although it is a very modern church, pastor Chad still teaches the actual word of God (which a lot of churches unfortunately do not do)! This church is also great for kids because they have a separate kids ministry and you rarely ever have to worry about kids screaming and hollering in the sanctuary because they are taken to a separate room. Cons: If you are old school it may not be the church for you. If you go to the short north location, majority of the announcements will be said on a screen. Also pastor Chad only preaches in the hillard location so I rarely ever get to see my pastor preach in real life.

God brought me to rock city short north in the new year of 2021 and I’m so glad He did. I remember being so moved during the worship and inspired by the Biblical messages that I fully recommitted my life to Christ. Everyone is truly welcomed here and you will leave feeling refreshed and encouraged if you approach God’s word with a humble and open heart. Everyone I’ve met has been very friendly and professional. Great place to visit if you’ve been away from church for a while or have never been to church.

When I first visited Rock City Church, I was immediately struck by how welcoming and inviting the atmosphere was. The worship experience was truly amazing, and I was impressed by how the church remained Bible-centered in all aspects of their ministry. The people there were genuine and kind, and it was clear that the church was heavily involved in the community. Above all, what stood out to me was how the church truly embodied the message of being the hands and feet of Jesus. Overall, I highly recommend Rock City Church to anyone looking for a vibrant and authentic faith community.

You don't know until you know. Ask Bo. 😁. But if you ask me, well then I'd have to tell you about Jesus and all the places I’d thought I found him and the few places I really have. I'm a peer and at present, I'm living outside as a means of solidarity because the Supreme Court just illegitimized millions of Americans who have resorted to that extreme freedom. At Rock City, they host the Dream Center and they do it all. They feed, clothe, and teach the gospel to a homeless community of about 130 people. I've never observed such a dignity-filled effort of community support. No diminutive language, always on time, and treating homeless men and women like decent human beings, because they are just that. They call in community support from OSU medical, local mental health agencies, and volunteers. They have coordinated a resourceful schedule to make sure we have everything we each day of the week. We are all thankful for you Rock City and The Dream Center! Amen. 🙏🤲🛐
