I had intended to go to the Center for Spiritual Living which I've attended before when I visited Vegas but their service starts at 10 and I overslept so I ended up going to the 10:30 service at the Unitarian Universalist Church. I attend a much smaller UU Church in California and I was so amazed at how fabulous this church was! I can't say enough about how friendly and welcoming everyone was to me and my service dog, there was a signer for deaf people, all the songs and readings were on a large screen, The Pianist was incredible and the talk absolutely touched my heart. The Chalice is the most beautiful one that I've ever seen! Even though it's quite a distance from my condo, I may go back again next week.

Friendly people and a lay led congregation so you never know who will be speaking or on what subjects. I encourage everyone to check it out. Refreshments served after each Sunday service.

I went here for a community meeting about police brutality. The staff was very nice to my children who loved their play area. The place is very clean and my entire family felt welcomed. The workers were very patient with my nine-year-old son who has ADD ADHD and the later it got the more patient the people were. ;)

The Unitarian Univeralists accept everybody, regardless of you beliefs, your opions, your background, your ethnicity, where you come from. These are very friendly people. You are free to meet with everyone. You can ask questions, but attacking others, or putting them down is not acceptable. They do what they can to help others through donations to food banks, and other charity activities. Don't expect a lot of or religious preaching. All religions beliefs are acceptable. I find this to be a very sharing place and interesting conversations. I have been happy every time I have visited this congration.

This a church that believes in social justice and equality. They are a very welcoming congregation. I really love this church. My only issue is that I've not been able to attend for personal issues, but I look forward to attending on a regular basis ome day. I highly recommend this church for anyone looking for a churxh family.

I went to a Wicca learning ritual for beginners. It was held by the Learning Stones Coven. It was a great experience. I loved it. I'm going back to the next meeting in May. It focused on the cycles of the moon.

(I posted this review on the Unitarian/Universalist Congregation Google page. Reposting it here since Google doesn't seem to know they are the same.) I've been to many Unitarian/Universalist churches over the years and UUCLV is my favorite. I've only been coming here for a few months, but I am so impressed by Rev Rachel. She is warm, funny, deeply compassionate, and has a keen intellect. Her sermons are interesting and profound. If she weren't a UU minister, she would make a wonderful Starship captain, like Picard or Janeway.

Went to the monthly food pantry. Short wait time, we did not have to wait out in the heat, the church was open for us to sit in. People were very friendly.
