We went here for a food handout. The staff were very friendly. Masks were required. They had a good selection. With plenty of water and drinks and a good bag of groceries. They called their handout "God's Groceries. If you need groceries I recommend this place. The only drawback is you can only get one issue of food per month.

I brought my friend here. They have Miracle League baseball games. I never knew this existed, baseball teams made up of special needs individuals with love for baseball. It made me smile seeing these Vegas neighbors enjoying the game and each other. There is a digital score board that shows the players team photo as they come up to bat, there's an official announcer, it made my heart full

Congregation is welcoming and non-judgemental. Pantry is very gracious in their work to those in need. There is a number of various support groups there as well throughout the week

On line, says "God's groceries" Says hours 4 to 6 pm on Thursdays. I used the last of my gas driving here. There is no one here! They won't even answer the phone! 😩 I guess God's groceries are just for God, not hungry kids

3/14/16: This church is very welcoming of everyone! We decided to join after our first visit! They have a great Social Justice group. Update: I joined Northwest Community Church (NWCC) almost 3 years ago and have enjoyed it very much; however, there has been a turn over in pastors and several other changes. The new pastor is very nice. She is NOT the reason why I have chosen to leave NWCC. NWCC is still a wonderful place to worship, to praise God in song and to meet some great people. Your kids will enjoy Kids Club, too. The reason I left has to do with the change in Social Justice activities. NWCC was very active in homeless programs, veteran issues, Three Square and many other things in our community. Now their issues seem to be more centered on the GLBTQ community and fundraising for themselves. The rest of the community and other Social Justice issues have taken a "back seat." The new pastor has caused a number of long-term members to leave this church including me (7/22/18). I do wish NWCC God's blessings and hope they find their way back. Update: The pastor has left and there's a restructuring going on at NWCC. I pray they work it out (2/12/2019).
