Looking for the Word of God to be preached. This is the place. Pastor Jimmy's sermons go through a full reading of a chapter of the Bible. The women's Bible studies are a must as well. Wonderful, God-fearing women meeting for worship, sermon/teaching, and then group chats to learn and grow in your relationship with God. We started going when our church kept their doors shut during COVID and we were in need of something more than online services.

A shout out to Pastor David at the 9:00 am service on April 6 He was led by the Spirit to stop his prayer and continue with the last song allowing the Holy Spirit to minister. It was a great thing to experience and not having to wait for an (appropriate) time such as Afterglow...which only the people who attend the evening service are afforded. Thank you Pastor David for submitting to the will of our Lord....keep it up., 🙏

Have been coming here for around 9 years now. I love the verse by verse teachings. People are friendly and will treat you as family. Especially once I decided to actually interact with others instead of just attending and running out as soon as service was over. Pastor Jimmy takes his time to pour into the next generation and in building others for God’s future kingdom. The young adults group has flourished after just 1 year and God has blessed me with seeing others grow and mature in the Word.

We had a really embarrassing and disheartening experience when we visited here. We are a military family with four children 6 and under. We just moved to the area and were trying to find a new church home. The people were very friendly and welcoming as we checked in our three older children into their Sunday school classes. Our youngest was six weeks old and we had planned to keep her with us since she was still a sleepy newborn (and because I didn't feel comfortable leaving her in a new nursery yet). Several men came up to us and let us know about the Mommy-and-infant room located in the back of the auditorium, and we were also informed of a few of the rooms rules (eg. No husbands or bigger siblings allowed in the room, only mom's and newborns). Each time we were informed we said thank you and continued on toward the auditorium. We were stopped one more time at the entrance to the auditorium and told about the room as well as the rules, we said thanks and proceeded in to the auditorium to find a seat (our infant was asleep this entire time). We took a seat in the middle of the last row. As the worship service started another man approached my husband (climbing over the people sitting next to him) and again mentioned the mom-and-infant room. He told the man we had been told several times about the room and would be sure to take advantage of the room should we need it. Before the first song was over the same man now approached me (climbing over the people sitting next to me) and told me that I needed to leave the service. I asked why and his response was "we do not allow children in the auditorium." I was shocked and thought I must have mis-heard him so I only responded with "I'm sorry?" The man repeated himself and told me that the church had a fully staffed nursery and Mom room that we could take advantage of, but that children were not permitted in the auditorium. We would never attend a church where our children were not permitted to ever sit with us so we decided to get our older children and leave. It was very awkward gathering our belongings and exiting with the entire congregation staring by this point. It was also really sad to check out our other three children from their classes. They had been so brave to be in a new class and here we were telling them we had to leave! To say they were confused and sad is putting it lightly. As we exited the church with our confused and upset family the head Pastor stopped us just outside the doors. I was fully expecting him to apologize or tell us this was all a big misunderstanding. Instead, he stood by the "no children in the auditorium policy" and told us, in what felt like was a very demeaning way, that hoped and would pray that we could find a place to worship that would "suit" us. I hate to leave a negative review, but I want others to be aware of the policy at this church. We were members of a Calvary Chapel at our previous assignment and LOVED the preaching and congregation (and we did not have a no children policy). The Church, people and children's program all seemed really nice, but if you want to ever worship with your children you will not be able to here. I hope this saves someone else a really uncomfortable experience.

Wonderful church. Pastor Jimmy shares the word with no exceptions. He's a pastor who doesn't shy away from the truth. The people are very friendly and it's a solid verse by verse studying of God's word.

Most loving church I have ever attended. The pastors wife is so sweet and goes out of her way to connect with you. I attended a ladies meeting felt out of place not knowing she was the pastors wife she sat next to me and greeted me and we had a wonderful time. God bless this church I recommend it to everyone 💕 …

Pay no attention to the 1 star reviewers. Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain is a Bible teaching church, "rightly dividing the Word of Truth" (2 Tim 2:15) and all about loving the people....everyone. They go to great lengths to accommodate everyone's needs, young and old, infants to elderly. The worship is rich and inspiring and the Bible is taught book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. Its about knowing Jesus and making Him known. I love it there.

We love this church and both the senior and youth pastors. We've gone here for three years and our 13 year old daughter loves it too. The service is a little longer than I was once used to, but it delivers a great message every week.

My family and I have been going here for about a month. My son sits with me thru the service and is extremely well behaved and doesn't make a sound and sits still. He has been sitting with me in church since he was born. Last Sunday we walked in and the guy at the door blocked me and said the children's ministry is that way. I said thank you i know but my son sits with me. He said not anymore. No children are allowed in the service its a new rule that the pastor has made. I daid he doesn't disrupt anything and he said he is not allowed. I turned around with my lil boy , my sister and her daughter and we started to leave. Another man that worked for the church said i know you are upset but we dont want distractions. I said my son isn't a distraction and has never been. He told me anout the wonderful children's ministry that they have and said that is where the kids belong . My sister said didn't Jesus say "let the little children come to me"? He said yes he did and that's why we have a children's ministry for them. I said im not comfortable with putting him in there. He said well then i hope you find a church that meets your needs. We walked out. I'm not sure how they rhink that is what Jesus would do. Its not. Very cold, unloving and exactly what is wrong with "churches" today. I wont be going back. This is not a reflection on how Jesus is and i know that, but there may be others who do not know Jesus like i do and this act of hate by turning someone away will cause extreme damage. Very sad and completely broke my heart.

The other churches I have been to pales in comparison to the verse by verse teaching at CCLM. If you want to grow, mature, love and serve, this is the church for you. If you have itching ears and want to be coddled, you will not find it here. Sermons are encouraging, inspiring, convicting and challenging. Are you up for the challenge?

Moved to San Diego, Ca. Love it here. Wish I could of brough Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain here to San Diego. How much I miss All the Pastors,a church that goes by the word of God. Recommend this Church to all Las Vegas.

As a visitor, I expected to find a sermon full of the Lord's word. But it turned out to be a political message in the pretense of preaching what God says (It was "The Lady in Red" sermon). Also, reviewing the sermon itself, there were some things mentioned that were given as facts, but can be verified not to be; which can make a sermon weaker.

We have been going to Calvary Chapel for almost a year now and we would not go anywhere else. Pastor Jimmy and the body are there by Gods hand who use the NKJV as their instruction manuel and they do not deviate from it. Its a warm and caring church.
