  This church changed my life. I got radically healed from PTSD. What the martinis are doing here makes me not want to move to another place. Literally just because I have found a church that is so spirit filled and also preaches the gospel. It’s theologically sound and honestly, I’ve traveled a lot and never come across a place like I have here. I am so thankful for the impact the Martinis have on my life and the people in the church that has changed me forever. This is a place that is genuinely so rare and the Holy Spirit is moving through this congregation in such an incredible way.

  LOVE this place. It’s home. It’s the best part of my week. The worship team is super talented, the pastors are great and their sermons are scripture based but even my non believing friends and family can relate to their messages and find them valuable. The people are so nice and you can feel the Holy Spirit the moment you walk in the doors.

  Love this church! The people, the pastor, the worship team, and my kids love the kids church. I feel the Holy Spirit every time I attend and I’ve never felt it more strongly than the first time I walked through it’s doors. The teachings are straight from the Bible but very relatable. Growing up in a reverent church, I love the charismatic worship style here where you are free to express God’s love however you feel inspired. People paint, dance, sit, stand, and kneel. They are welcoming to all, so come as you are!

  Amazing, Holy Spirit-filled church that is also grounded in the Word of God and sound Biblical teaching. The founding pastor came from a Baptist background and has incredible theological knowledge. Our current pastor is down to earth and relatable. Come to worship creatively and freely, receive healing and fellowship with the most encouraging people! This is not a dull church! I also love how involved the kids get to be with worship, praying, healing and prophecy. It is good to teach children how to read their Bibles and operate in the spiritual gifts.

  My life has been profoundly impacted by this church! It's firmly grounded in the word of God and allows the Holy Spirit to move freely. I'm convinced that God is working miracles through this community, positively influencing the city and leading it towards salvation.   I've known Pastor Alan for years and have observed him to be a solidly biblical, scriptural teacher and a dedicated and conscientious pastor. His sermons are relevant, insightful and inspired. Also, one of the best aspects of this church is the lively praise and worship--always fresh and enjoyable as well as spiritual and deep. I grew up in Albuquerque and have attended numerous churches of many assorted denominations--because I have been involved in various types of inter-church ministry such as radio ministry--so I have had the opportunity of observing a very broad range of churches and denominational styles. In my experience, one of the things I look for in a congregation is the abundance of youth, because a spiritually dead church is usually full of just old folks and that's all. But this church is alive with much youthful energy and enthusiasm, yet is guided by many mature and experienced Christians. There is a broad range of Christian believers in the congregation from baby Christians to seasoned elders. In addition, this church brings in guest speakers from around the nation and the world who are at the cutting edge of modern Christianity, and whose teachings lead us in a closer walk with God without fluff or pretense. Very few churches in Albuquerque sponsor these kinds of inspiring Christian evangelists and teachers. I often see several people at this church's special events that I know from different parts of the city who come from their home churches to New Life City in order to enjoy the depth and variety of the visiting guest speakers who host special events here. I highly recommend this church especially to new believers. You won't find a lot of dead ritual or spaced-out craziness...just good, solid biblical teaching combined with genuine fellowship and the love of the Holy Spirit. The leaders of this church strive to present a positive role example and the church members are friendly and welcoming. This is truly a church that lives up to it's name--there is an abundance of New Life here!

  Came here while passing through town, so it is not our normal church, but if we lived in Albuquerque, this would most definitely be our home church!!! The way they involve children and art during their worship, was soooo filled with the Holy Spirit, and the pastor delivered an incredible message that resonated with everyone!!! The Men's group leader invited my husband to join their mens group via zoom and we thought that was really cool since we live in NE and this gives him an opportunity to meet new men from Albuquerque. My family of 6 left extremely happy and loving what we learned and felt while there. It was truly an incredible experience!! And we 100% recommend others to go here because God is doing something massive in this church and you can totally feel his presence there with his children!!! Loved it so much, thank you New City Life church!!! We hope to see you all again!

  I've been here three times and have always felt welcome. The pastor is an excellent teacher, music is lovely, and I feel very comfortable worshipping God here. This church operates in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

  I found the teaching to be uplifting and in line with scripture. The worship is AMAZING. And best of all, the Spirit of the LORD is present there!! Come get blessed!!!! Oh, and just in case you were wondering.... the pastor of this congregation has a doctorate degree in theology with decades of pastoral experience. The sermons and teachings are DEEP and very thought provoking.

  We've been going for over two years, and it just gets better and better. We visit other churches often, and the worship at our church stands out so much, we always miss our own services. Pastor Alan is very knowledgeable and his messages are anointed.

  There is an atmosphere of freedom at New Life City. Freedom in worship, freedom to live for, and serve Christ in the way one is led. There is also balance. Solid biblical teaching and boundaries in ministry create an atmosphere of safety. There is also diversity in the ways people express their worship, and this is encouraged by the leadership team. My wife and I have been attending for almost 3 years now, and we find ourselves growing in our relationship and our relationship with Jesus. It doesn't get better than that :-)

  I have been a part of New Life City for three years now. This place is a community. A safe place where one can come and be accepted. A place where one can come and rest. Solid biblical teaching by Pastor Alan Hawkins and his staff. This place is filled with the Holy Spirit. You can definitely feel the presence of the Lord.

  Most of the things I saw/heard/experienced here do not match up with the bible. People acting in ways that was of their ego and of...idk...something else...but it was NOT of the Holy Spirit. If you choose to attend this church, stand firm in what you know Christ to be like, listen carefully and be on your toes. Pray that God gives you the gift of discernment. If you're new to Christianity or just curious and haven't really read the bible or haven't been to a church, just avoid this church so you're not confused.

  I have attended New Life City for four years now. In that time I have had many encounters with Holy Ghost. I can say they have been encounters that I have personally sought after for years before attending. If you're looking for freedom in Christ, and a nonjudgmental grace filled family to belong to, come check us out.
