  St. Columbkille is absolutely one of the best churches I have ever been to. The services are very well said and the pastor is very nice! They really have a big family/community that is so welcoming and great! They also have the best fish frys in the world and the pancake breakfast are a great place to meet new people in the church. By far the most welcoming church I have been to.

  Very family-friendly church and school. The priests and deacons are very wonderful and very friendly. The sensory mass is awesome, perfect for all family members. Needs to get it out to the public. Better advertising. Open it up to all churches. I will even help since I work with special needs.

  My wife has been a member for 30 years. Myself for about 14. It is a wonderful, loving, and giving parish. Our 4 children are growing up in one of the best faith communities in the state and I couldn't ask for more. Our close knit circle of friends is very important to us and we are all a part of St. Columbkille. We have made life long friends at this parish.

  Engaging parish that drives the community in an effort that is seemingly unparalleled on my travels. While the homily was simple, it's complexity was not lost on this wandering servant. Following the mass I was found seeking those lost sheep. Grace of our Lord Christ be multiplied to all that enter into this Parish!

  We came to this Church after being at a Church in Omaha that we were really happy with. We have had a lot of troubles feeling at home in this large Church. They do offer many Mass times, but know to get there timely to get a seat. I do like the updates they have done to the Church. It appeared to be a long time coming. Masses for Holidays are a bit difficult, as with most Churches. I find Christmas Eve a nightmare and opt to get our kids up Christmas morning to deal with going hours in advance to save a seat. This is probably true with many Churches, however, and it is nice that they offer the Christmas morning Mass times. Our big issue is with the Catholic Education. The price of the Catholic Education program seems really high at $130. I opted to home school the kids they will allow me to home school and the book is $20. Not sure what the extra $110 is for they charge for the summer program. It is high in comparison to other Catholic Education programs. As a converted Catholic, my education to become Catholic was free (and RCIA remains free). I just do not feel that they want kids to become Catholic when they put such a high price on it. My husband reports he did not pay as a child and I did not pay in the Church I grew up in (and it remains free at the Church I grew up in). When asked about why it was more expensive than other Churches, I did not get a good explanation. We want to raise our kids Catholic without breaking the bank for Catholic Education. Honestly, my experience with the Catholic Education office has had me struggling with Church in general. Additionally, the Education program has parental requirements for Adult Religious Education hours every year to be achieved prior to entering your child into the $130 Catholic Education program. It is not on an honors program either, they have us sign into classes like we are children. I find this insulting. I am having to make notes of the classes so I do not forget the dates and classes I attend in order to sign my kids up to Catholic Education. From my experience, people are more apt to participate in things if not forced to do so. By forcing it, it makes these things feel like a chore and not a learning experience and a time to bring us closer to God. It feels more about a requirement (which it is) to check off a form. If there was another Catholic Church, we would seek it out. But, for the time being, we continue to pray about our struggles and hope for improvement.

  This is my parish church. I am SO happy to be living here as it makes it so easy to attend church in this parish. Our priests are the BEST and the congregation is very friendly and welcoming. EVERYONE is welcome here no matter where they live.

  St. Columbkille welcomed me with open arms and hearts. For the first time in my life, I feel completely accepted just as I am. They have helped me through health issues, changed my attitude towards church, helped me heal spiritually. I absolutely without reservation recommend this church to those who are wanting changes in their life. Father Dave and Father Pat are awesome!

  During the past year we have attended Masses in 10 different states and at least 20 different parishes. St. Columbkille has a spirit about it that you won't find in most churches. Most Masses we attend are 90% elderly people. Here you see families with children. While it is a large church I look at that from a positive perspective in that there are many opportunities to get involved. All of these great opportunities cost money, but I'm pretty sure if someone can't afford something they will waive the fee. St. Columbkille, you have a great thing going here. Be grateful for that and don't take it for granted.

  St Columbkille Church has been a great experience for our family. The members of the church are our neighbors, friends, classmates and other fantastic people who are so involved in our community. It's great to live in a city that is the best in the nation!

  I have belonged to St. Columbkille Parish for 35 years. Although for some of those years I didn't go to Mass regularly. When I did come back and really get invoved and attended Mass every Sunday, I met a lot of wonderful people. I think St. Columbkille has a lot to offer. We have a lot of friendly parishioners, but as in any large group, as we have close to 6,000 Parishioners, you are going to have some people that aren't very nice, that is how the world is. We have been really blessed to have had some wonderful Priests, through the years. Judy Faust

  Attended Xmas eve mass here while visiting relatives. Very nice and modern building. Dress was a little more informal than we are accustomed to and music was so so, but all in all a nice church.

  Not a regular church goer but have attended mass here many, many times. Usually crowded. Need to get their early so you don't have to park across street and walk. Crying room for children. Very nice church.
