After having difficulty finding a faith that was "welcoming," I'm so glad I was told about this church! Not only was I welcomed with open arms by everyone, Fr. Tom had really helped me feel welcomed. I came for the early service at 8 a.m. which was a small group, but I felt at peace and didn't make my anxiety skyrocket. Fr. Tom also showed me around. I think next Sunday I will go for the early worship at 8 am and stay for the second worship, which is more family oriented, plus it features music at that time. If you are part of the lgbt, you will be welcomed here! "Come as you are!" They mean it. Couldn't be happier.

I came to CHS a little over 3 years ago when looking for a spiritual home. Boy am I glad I did! The church has the warm and inclusive atmosphere I was hoping to find. The people, the ministry and pastoral teams are all great. There are unlimited opportunities to get involved in activities, community outreach programs, spiritual growth, or whatever your interests. I encourage everyone to come check it out!

Whether you prefer a more traditional service with music and a choir, to a traditional service where you don't have to sing...because some of us can't ☺, to a condensed service on Saturdays, CHS can provide it. The church is active in several ministries, including the Open Door Mission and the Bellevue Food Pantry. Our pastor is actively engaged with members of the parish, and takes a genuine interest in their welfare.

I honestly can’t say enough about this welcoming Episcopal church just east of Skate City in Bellevue. It is a “come as you are” church (be it spiritually, physically, orientationally, politically) family that has something for all searchers who want to grow in their faith. Give it a few visits if you are looking for tradition along with personal spiritual growth!

I go to this church for the AA meetings that are held here. Please do not guage an opinion based off my review, however, any church willing to allow their building to be used for a 12-step program speaks volumes in my book!
