I think this is my very first time writing a Google review and it's because this place is truly different -- I've been to churches of many different denominations and even in different countries. And there's something about this place that's so genuine and open, that it truly makes me want to grow with the community here. I'm not currently a member of a church and have been praying on what it means to "love your neighbor as yourself" and this place really has something to teach me. The love and warmth that radiates in these people truly is awesome. The first time I went, there must have been five different people who greeted me with such invitation and love, it took me aback. And I think the pastor waits outside in the parking lot so nobody leaves without a warm smile and an encouraging word. And when I returned a week later, they remembered me with all the compassion and joy they shared the week before! This is a very special place and I encourage you to visit. Oh, and the pastor is hilarious! He is so real -- he's not holier than thou at all. Genuine, imperfect, big-hearted people. So thankful I wondered in. :)

Just moved to Wilson first church we attended and we love it . Great messages you can definitely feel The Holy Spirit moving through everyone there. Very relatable sermons definitely won’t be falling asleep during service and very welcoming hospitality from everyone . Also my kids love it . This one feels like a big family.

I was in Wilson a week ago visiting a friend and she invited me to attend services with her that Sunday. I accepted and am more thankful I did so than I could express here. I should mention that I live in Carolina Beach which is 2:30 away. The visit was extremely moving and the spirit stronger then anything I could have ever possibly imagined. The message seemed scripted just for me, was delivered with deep conviction and real enthusiasm that it simply blew me away. I could not believe the hospitality and warm reception the members offered me and I felt I had known them for years. It was so profound that today (one week later) I woke and messaged my friend and asked if she would like to have me beside her in service today. Thankfully she said "yes" but I knew I was going anyway. I drove 2:30 to see if I could possibly have the same reception and feel the spirit as I had the week before. Believe it or not it was even stronger. While I cannot drive 2:30 to church every week, I assure you I will be there as often as possible. This group of people are as genuine as they come and I felt the spirit strongly once again. My only regret is the church is not closer to me. I do not give out reviews unless it is absolutely deserved and this one IS. My advice to you as a caring individual is simply this. GO. It very likely will change your life.

I posted 7 yrs. Ago and just wanted to confirm that I still Love this church, my home, and my family Loves Pastor Cliff and his wife Lisa and we have learned so much from them. This Church is a no judgment zone and everyone is welcome ❤️. You will not find another church like this one. Come and be blessed! Sunday’s at 10:30

We've been a part of this church family for 10 years now, and we're watching our children grow up to know the Lord thanks to the wonderful pastors and leaders at WPW. This church doesn't just preach, they put into practice being the hands and feet of Jesus to a lost and dying world. Pastors Cliff and Lisa Lewin are the most real pastors you'll ever meet.

The Worship is powerful and true. The pastor is the best Shepard I've ever known!! You will not find a better church. Everyone is welcome!!

The people are amazing and so friendly. As soon as you walk in the door you can see and feel acceptance. They literally don't judge or make you feel unimportant. I found my home and couldn't be happier. You guys are such a blessing in these rough times. God bless all of you! See ya tomorrow morning.

This church has a great energy and friendly vibe. The senior pastor is genuine and real. You can tell he actually cares.

Although a visitor + not a member, I found this group of God's children who are not only God worshiping, but also are welcoming wonderful friendly people who love Jesus !
