  My church. Great pastor and great congregation. Many missions are supported and our volunteers are the best. Our moto, is "Be the Church, Out There". Christ centered and by the book. On need of a church, we are there. Need a school for your children, we are there. If your soul is lost or wandering, come meet Jesus, seek his truth and love, and receive the forgiveness you need. All are welcomed and hopefully your needs will be met.

  I have never been to a church service here, because I don't live locally, but I am from the area. I'm rating based on the fact that we like to attend concerts here (since it is near my hometown) and I love that a place in New Bern will bring great Christian artists for us to go see. The place is always clean for the concerts, and checking in is easy. They also normally have concessions for these events, so it makes for an enjoyable evening.

  Single worst treatment we have received since moving to Easter NC. Never going or recommending the Temple Church in New Bern to anyone, never going to another event, we had been so excited to see Chris Tomlin, even purchased VIP tickets, but apparently my brown skin means less than my christian fellowship ever will.

  I'm new to the church but I came just as the preacher was starting a series on Revelations. I am learning so much and am very impressed with him. The people are all very kind and from the upcoming events calendar I can see they have very popular Christian bands and celebrities. I'm excited!

  This church is also a concert venue for gospel music. We have seen The News Boys, Casting Crown, We Are Messengers, and Ben Fuller there. It is a great venue and draws people from the surrounding areas. Our first trip there was with our church, but have gone back by ourselves.

  Went for the Zack Williams concert and loved it! We had so much fun and the church is a beautiful modern building. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to get in and out.

  This is the best church I’ve ever been to. Before when I’d attend other churches, I would find myself bored by dull messages. Every week I am excited to come back to hear the Pastor’s sermons. No other church has spoken to me as much as this one has, I put actions to the messages Pastor Jim preaches. You truly can feel the presence of God in there.

  We love this church ! It has a great children's program . Wonderful Worship music program. My wife and I were married and baptized by the current Pastor and now our son has chosen to be a follower of Christ and be baptized . They also have Bible studies for all ages and groups . If we could give this more stars we definitely would !!!

  Attended concert here and it was awesome. Had great facility roomy area for food. Foyer large enough for CD and promotion stuff bands were selling. Really enjoyed myself.

  The Weekday preK's quote is from Matthew 19:14: 'Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." How extremely disappointing to find that the PreK is NOT, in fact, accepting of ALL children. My particular child had an allergy that was discussed at registration with the director. Midway through the school year, I got a threatening letter indicating that the school was going to kick her out because of this medical allergy. Naturally, I went in and talked to the director, and again provided a doctor's note, and my daughter was ultimately able to attend (though honestly at that point, I questioned even letting my child remain at an institution in which I wasn't even sure she was welcome). Sadly, we are not the only family who has experienced an issue with Temple. I am personally aware of several other area families with similar views that have also had their wonderful children turned away from this school as well. This blatant hypocrisy is not at all reflective of the Bible's teachings and leads to people feeling unwelcome at the very institution that is supposed to be accepting of everyone. It is also is extremely overpriced and VERY flashy. It seems like everything that is done is done for show. Nothing feels organic or humble and that, in and of itself, is very off putting.... but most especially from a church. If I had to do it again, I would choose another place to send my preschooler. This church just does not align with my views.

  Really great vibe and the people who work there are super nice. Beautiful campus and church, awesome sound system and playground for children. Highly suggest this church, it is truly spectacular.

  People seem to go more for networking purposes than church! Well known that members leave prior to end to book reservations for lunch! Deal breaker was when pastor used Fox News clip to aid sermon!

  Our kids played in a dodgeball tourney with the youth group from Temple. The church leaders were friendly and relatable. The kids had fun and like to visit there from time to time.
