This Historical church is on a piece of the civil war trail that runs between Wagram and Laurinburg.

The members of Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church are warm, caring and serious about being the church. My wife and I visited several churches four years ago. It took one visit to know we had found our new church. Indeed, we found family. We felt led by God to this special church family. The music, the children, the worship, the generosity in helping others, their inclusive spirit are all a part this special church. “There is a sweet, sweet spirit in this place.”

Beautiful structure with so much history! Built by immigrant Highland Scots, this church has seen nearly 200 years of history; including nearly 40,000 Union troops lead by Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman. Some of the soldiers who camped on her grounds, carved their names in the plaster or the bell tower.
