Love this church. We drive 40 miles one way every Sunday to be a part of the family at Lake Community. Preaching is straight from the Word and always hits home. So glad we made the switch. Worth the drive every time.

Attended service several weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. Turns out I knew pastor Ron from years ago meeting and talking over breakfast at McDonalds. The worship was awesome with a very balanced mix and the pastor was very inspiring. I have seen only 1 or 2 negative remarks, mostly on the music being loud and the dark sanctuary. I’m 67 and I could not have been more delighted with it, but I have a full gospel background so it’s not a fit for all. They could not build a building big enough if that were the case. There is no “Perfect Church”! If there was I would ruin it—LOL I must depend on others for transportation now, but as soon as I am able to walk with my prosthetic foot I’ll be attending regularly!

Wonderful Christ centered place to gather for worship and fellowship. Leadership and regulars are extra welcoming and non judgmental. Great music , great teaching, great kids and youth groups. It has been my family's home church for 6+ years. Couldn't ask for a better group of lead pastors .

Worship was extremely loud. Deafening. We love contemporary praise and worship, but this was to the extreme. The dark sanctuary gives a strange feeling especially to visitors, who may not know how to get out and find the rest room. Only people we knew us personally said hello, this was not an especially friendly church. It was obvious we were visitors when we had to ask what their procedure was for children's church. This church is only a 20 minute drive, so I really wanted to like this church, but I didn't get the feeling this is where God wants us to be. If you love really loud worship, and a dark sanctuary with lights flashing, you might like this church, but it wasn't for us. It sounded like the "band" was playing off of sound tracks, which take a lot away from the live worship where the Holy Spirit can lead the people.

This has been my family church since 2007. If you want a welcoming church, music from a band that gets you in the spirit that you feel closer to the Lord automatically, a great youth group and lots of other fun stuff. Then this is the church! I never knew that worship could be so exciting and fun! Not boring at all!
