  Today was my second visit for worship. I felt welcomed, the love of God, and a strong sense of compassion & justice. The pastor preaches directly from the Holy Bible. They are inclusive and teach love for all. After my first visit, they mailed me a small leaflet and a beautiful mug. FYI, I am still attending worship services at Resurrection Downtown. I have attended a discipleship class in which I was encouraged to dig deeper, ask more thoughtful questions, and place my biblical research net wider. I didn't complete the class but not for lack of anything but time. I am still in small group. I derive great joy from meeting and conversing with members at different stages of their spiritual journey. I pull strength from some, I provide scaffolding to some, and I admire the tenacity, faith, and hope of our entire group!

  Vibrant, growing Methodist church in downtown Kansas City. Diverse in so many ways - racial/ethnically, socioeconomically, and generationally. Theologically open and welcoming. Fantastic community to make friends, learn, get support and grow in your faith.

  This has been my church home for several years now. The facility is first-class with plenty of parking, and the services have incredible music and thought-provoking sermons. This church preaches what Jesus taught: love God and love your neighbors. There are plenty of service and volunteer opportunities. It's a big church with a lot of service times, so you will need to plug yourself in to get to know people but once you do, it's the best thing you'll ever do!

  We loved our visit! First timers: parking is easy! Don’t worry about being downtown. The pastor was awesome! We loved his biblical message. Do note though that the worship band is live and the pastor is a video. He is super engaging though!

  Very nice building. Everyone is always so nice and friendly. I went a couple (4) Sundays in a row and one of the greeters remembered me. I got on their website and put my name on the visitors list the first Sunday I visited and they sent me a very nice mug. They do everything that needs to be done in an hour. May God continue to bless you!

  What a blessing to call this place a home. Not only do the messages speak to me, the biggest draw for me is the staff. Each and everyone are just good people. From those singing or supporting to those preaching. They will sit with you and they will love you. Unconditionally. A daily demonstration of their faith. Thank you for being my home!
