Details
Our Savior Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, which emphasizes the love of the Triune God and the importance of the Word and Sacraments. We believe in one Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and follow the teachings of the Apostles' Creed. Our purpose is to give glory to God and do the work of His Kingdom through preaching, teaching, and fostering fellowship and charity.
Worship services are held at 9 a.m. every Sunday, with Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, as well as on special Sundays like the Baptism of Our Lord, Palm Sunday, and Easter. Children are engaged through the Children’s Message during non-Communion Sundays. Fellowship and Bible Study follow in the Fellowship Hall after services.
Our congregation is led by Pastor Andrew Tessone, who has been serving since 2011. We have various boards and groups that support the church’s mission, including the Board of Elders, Board of Education, Board of Finance, and Board of Trustees. Volunteers also serve as Ushers, Audio Booth operators, Acolytes, and members of the Altar Guild.
We offer Bible studies on Tuesdays and host events like Midweek Lent Services, Ash Wednesday, and Christmas Eve services. Our community is known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to helping those in need, as noted in visitor reviews.
