My family moved from Southern California and were so sad to leave our home church. A few months after our relocation to KC, we were suggested to give NLCC a try and received such a warm welcome. What a blessing this church as been. We were given so many tangible opportunities to be involved with serving and to connect with a community of folks who love Jesus. If you're looking for a church that will grow your relationship with God and give you support, this is the one. They make sure to connect with ALL who walk through their doors and work hard on outreach for the KC community while sharing the good news. They are truly authentic and make you feel like family very quickly. They have a fantastic pastoral team, they are wonderfully diverse, and they have a great children's ministry!

My daughter and I found this church online while looking for another church. We decided to check this one out and so thankful we did. We have only been last two weeks but have really enjoyed it this far. Everyone is so welcoming and my 13 year old daughter really enjoys the youth room. I really enjoyed the sermons both weeks and the music. I love the location too, and people from all different areas come so they offer small group Bible studies in all parts of Kansas City area if you want to get more involved.

There are so many good things I can say about New Life but my top favorite things are: -The people: everyone is so real and love. No matter what economic status you are coming at, everyone is treated with love and respect. -The acts of service: pretty much everyone in the church is doing some type of ministry to reach others inside and outside of the church. -The message: I've been challenged by the word to really step up in a lot of areas of my life. 10/10!

New Life CityChurch is the nicest most friendly church I have ever been to. If you are looking for a home church. You need to give New Life a try. Services on Sunday are at 8:00 am. 9:15 am. or 10:45 am. We are a Downtown Church a Network of Neighbors and Kingdom Partners building bridges for people to access and experience the Gospel of Jesus.

If you are questioning faith issues or seeking God then this is a warm and welcoming community to do so. If you are a follower of Jesus and need a community to belong to this is the place. Down to earth people from all social and economic backgrounds gather together for a single purpose. You will find people who come off the streets to people who live in a penthouse but what brings us all together is our recognition that we have messed up, need rescued from ourselves, and that Jesus has made that all possible through bearing our punishment by dying in our place and then raising from the dead and leaving us his Spirit to indwell us and empower us to live the life we desperately desire to live. It is also located in a cool area in downtown. So yeah come check us out.

Our Young Adults Ministry (Paradigm at Abundant Life) partnered with this Church this weekend during our Unashamed mission trip that we do when we go into Kansas City and see what our city needs most, and that is the love of Jesus! We were able to stay there every night that this was going on, and you could see the love that people had on their faces for this city. This was a great experience.

The moment you walk in the door you WILL feel welcomed. This group of people genuinely cares about you as a person rather than just try to fill the chairs. The body is very diverse, with people of different age, race, financial status, and background, but they all come together in the name of Jesus Christ. The teachers are all solid in the Word and don't skip over controversial subjects if it means that somebody will be led to a deeper understanding of God. You will truly find an authentic, Bible-believing church when you visit.

New Life City Church is located downtown, but individuals come from all over the metro. New Life City Church mission's is to develop a community that inspires people to know and follow Jesus. (And isn't that why we all should go to church?) To find us, look for the cross on the top of a building downtown, or the group of people talking downtown on a Sunday after church.......

Solid, Biblical teaching with a lead pastor who truly loves the Lord even if he is a bit misled by being a Minnesota Vikings fan. You won't find a pastor with a bigger heart for people. Love this guy!

Energetic, focused, disciple-making community downtown! The Bible is studied, proclaimed and lived here. You need to be a part of this loving, caring community serving the urban core of KCMO.

Finding a community of intentionality can be tough. Finding one that also has a heart for Christ can be even more difficult. New Life offers both in the middle of downtown KC.
