We have attended this church for about 2.5 years. We appreciate that they are a Gospel centered, bible preaching church. The messages are so rich and deep and very applicable to our lives today. They have an amazing children and youth program. They also offer small groups to give you the opportunity to build relationships with others in the church. A great family environment and peanut free campus.

This church is a beautiful local representation of the body of Christ. The worship is heart felt and God-glorifying. The sermons are biblical and expository in nature. My wife and I tried many churches before landing here about six years ago. There is a familial love that is there. Most importantly, this place is gospel-centered. I could go on--wonderful church.

We've been attending for 6 years now. Initially, we agreed to try out a different congregation every Sunday until we found one we liked. We started with LCF and didn't need to look any further! The preaching is Biblical, the songs are wonderful, and there are so many groups and activities to join that there's simply something for everyone. The thing that I like the BEST is that we have teenagers. My teenagers actually listen to the sermons and comment on them later. That is HUGE to me that my kids are getting fed and that they enjoy coming to church. The church is so loving and welcoming that we have felt at home since day one.

If your looking for a place with a solid sermon from a godly young pastor this is the place. If you are looking for friendly people and fellowship you should be aware of systemic issues that are associated with this church. My wife and I have been going to this church hit-and-miss for 4 years and have felt rejected on a continual level. I can't believe I am reviewing a church, especially with mix review but I feel like honesty is needed. There are a lot of nice people here however I think the overall environment overshadows their capacity. I have hoped and been patient for several years now and have come to a point where I can not expect their environment to change without a major recalibration of heart and accountability. What also bothers me is a lack of cultural diversity, peering over the church body I didn't see a single non-white person. Perhaps an indication of reaching people's for Christ is seeing more than one culture or race in attendance. I'm happy to re-rate if things change, however I don't think I'll be aware after my absence.

After moving to Kansas City, we tried a few different churches. Our search stopped after one visit to LCF. The lead pastor is dynamic, humble, and Christ centered. The sermons are biblically focused. The church emphasizes fellowship with believers by encouraging members to join a small group. Our children enjoy the child care, both during Sunday services and small group. We hope to call LCF our church home for many years to come.

Came for one visit and have never left. We love everything about LCF. From the Bible based preaching, to the inviting community, small groups, support & activities. We are blessed to call LCF home!

I have been attending LCF since February of 2017. I was looking for a Christian Church to attend and I tried the one in my town. It was very old school and I didn't feel comfortable. My boyfriend said try the one I attend, so I did. I fell in love!! I so believe in this Church and the message they are sending that I drive an hour to attend every week. The Church is Gospel centered, mission driven. I have learned so much from the sermons each week. The lead pastor Tim Fritson is young but very verse in scripture. His sermons are biblical based yet he makes them relatable to today's world. Whatever passage the sermon is over he breaks it down so it's understood. There are plenty of groups and activities. I have attended a women's conference they held at the church this yr. I have attended a few of the worship nights, which were spectacular. I have brought friends of mine with me to worship night so they can enjoy and experience what I get to every week for themselves. The worship team is FANTASTIC!!! They sing current and traditional songs. The staff and associate pastors are friendly and helpful. I find the church as a whole to be very unjudgemental. I felt very comfortable and welcomed from day 1. The style of dress varies from very casual to very dressed up. The church is diverse. I have been Baptized at the church and I just got married at the church. Everyone was very helpful and available in planning my day. I just can't say enough good things about LCF. God knew what I needed and He lead me to LCF.

I really liked it, loved the teaching and the worship, friendly people. Can definitely see our family being a part of the community there and think that we will feel more connected and stuff as we continue to go there

Came for one visit. Never left/family now. Bible/God/Jesus Discipleship & Mission Driven inspired worship, wonderfully blessed sermons, children and adult studies, etc.
