I'd been looking for a new church home off and on for about three years and am so grateful to have found NOLA Church. I prayed for a place where I could feel the Spirit of God and receive life-giving teaching without feeling "preached at". From the moment the congregation started clapping together at the start of my very first service, excited to begin worshipping together, the tears started flowing and all these months later I still have the same response. I'm so grateful that NOLA church exists and that the Lord led me there. I'm equally grateful to everyone I've met there for welcoming me in and always being willing to jump right into "real talk" or give words of encouragement. It's such a sweet and exciting place to walk out your faith. Couldn't recommend it enough!

I was brought to NOLA Church through a search on the internet. Seems so unconventional, BUT God definitely had His hand in this connection! From the moment I stepped through the doors I was welcomed with a peace I've not experienced anywhere else. The friends I've made and the walk they've helped me make towards knowing my God and my purpose is something I am grateful for everyday. I like that NOLA Church is not just there for me to "check my Sunday Service box". This church is on the move, actively reaching out and connecting people to God. I am thankful.

NOLA Church offers a peaceful atmosphere that envelops you, your friends, and your family. It is laid back, life giving, drama free, and united. The church body draws you in, and you leave always wanting more. Our family is so thankful for the pastors who lay a foundation for a church with a heart to LOVE and SERVE others!

When I moved to New Orleans from the east coast as a young professional I didn't expect to connect with such a wonderful church family. The lead Pastors at NOLA Church helped me with this huge transition and the congregation of believers welcomed me into their community with open arms! I am now living a more fulfilling life because of my relationship with GOD that was developed through NOLA Church. This is a great community for people of all ages! The services are filled with dynamic worship, Bible based preaching, and are very kid friendly. Definitely a community to check out whether you are a long time believer and are church shopping or if you are just curious about who GOD is and how to connect with the christian faith.

I've been a member of NOLA Church since March of 2015. Building a life there has been absolutely life changing. I didn't grow up in church but have attended all of my adult life. I've been a part of some great places but this was the first time that I had ever found a group of people that ever genuinely loved others as much as here. NOLA Church isn't just a place with programs and a good word, it's a family, and they carry you like family should. Pastors Monte & Olga are very transparent and have no problem with inviting you into their lives to see the real nitty gritty of the everyday sacrifices, struggles, and joys that are involved in living a life fully surrendered to God's agenda. At NOLA you don't only receive awesome, relevant teachings of God's word, but you also receive practical examples of how to live this christian life day to day.The good, the bad, and the ugly. NOLA Church worships in the most raw way that I've ever seen. No matter the circumstances, place, broken ac or broken heater... these people just worship. They've never needed everything to be lined up perfectly for them in order to put everything aside and just worship God with their whole selves. It's taught me that a relationship with God isn't about having things lined up in me or around me first, that I just need to let it all go and look to Him, give Him my life and then HE takes care of all the broken pieces for me. Better than I ever could. If you're looking for a place with real people, awesome music, and an understandable, practical break down of God's word...NOLA Church is EXACTLY what you're looking for.

NOLA Church is great being going for few years now. The Pastor does a great job breaking down the bible to make it easy to understand. Great connection with the people in the church, made lots of new friends here. Come hang out with me one Sunday.

NOLA Church is a breath of fresh air. My family has been attending for the last two years. We have so many life giving friendships that we have made here! I love how NOLA Church is making a difference in New Orleans, and also around the world! The NOLA Serve team just returned from Nicaragua! They were able to bless so many people there! Please come and visit! Everyone is welcome! Everyone can make a difference! Everyone can experience more of Jesus!

I have spent most of my life going to church. I grew up around most of the people that went there. So I was reticent to visit NOLA Church in 2015 where I didn't know anyone. But what I found was the most open and welcoming (and geek friendly) community I have ever been a part of. It helped me to take the lessons I had learned from 30+ years of going to church and actually live out the life that Jesus has for us and be a life giving member of my community and for the first time in a long time energize and excite me for the mission of the church which is to simply connect people with a loving God. This community is all about loving on people with issues and hurts and then building them up and helping to develop the God given gifts and talents that God designed for them. It's not just endless preaching and rote memorization and repetition, it's real life with real people. Love my NOLA Church home.

This church is located in New Orleans in a safe area near upscale River Ridge, New Orleans. I give it 5 stars. We are not members. We visited as part of our vacation. This church is FRIENDLY and caring. As first time visitors, we we're greeted warmly. The worship was uplifting and beautiful. The church has a very talented worship team and the church loves to worship. The message was excellent, awe inspiring and life changing. The pastor is insightful, funny, down to earth and touches hearts. He is in tune with New Orlean's culture and societal challenges facing the people of New Orleans everyday. He and his wife are both gracious and kind. They love people and their New Orlean's community. We highly recommend this church to anyone who visits New Orleans, or to anyone who is looking for a home church. This church is worth your time and investment. The church actively works in the community on projects as well. Thanks for making us feel welcome NOLA Church!

Such a great church. The pastors are amazing, welcoming and loving. The body, equally as amazing. I have been attending for about a month and it's been nothing but good. The Word is preached on biblical principals. No fluff. If you are near this area or even if you've been looking around for a new church, I humbly ask that you come visit. It's a great place.
