  Beware Teach that man is sovereign in salvation and not God. Personally witnessed an elder a few years ago tell a young lady to just say the sinner’s prayer and she will be saved. Ludicrous. It is so unbiblical. Study the Bible. Read John 3, 6, 10 and Romans for Pete’s sake. Also as a few years ago, there were so many prosperity gospel books in the library. Things might’ve changed, but beware beware beware of false teaching

  Very grateful for Bill and his wife Violet Goodrich who God sent to purchase the land On Indian Lake Road , to build Horizon Christian Fellowship Church just north of Indian Lake dammed in 1929 .My Stepfather Bill Dunn added his Civil Engineering and I helped with kitchen design stainless steel equipment donated from LN.

  Really welcoming. Expository preaching. Godly group of people. My family enjoys being a part of this body of believers. We have so many ministries for everyone, solid teaching, and a hard working staff. Never have I seen a church that does as much as Horizon does. What a great fellowship to be a part of.

  We visited for the 1st time today. The location was easy to find. Parking was not over crowded. Entrance doors were easy to find, donuts and coffee for free to visitors. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The sanctuary is in the school gym, however it was very comfortable. Worship was up-to-date and God directed. Teaching was encouraging, challenging and convicting. Wonderful to fellowship with other believers.

  We attended the Pastor's Conference and EVERYTHING was great! The whole staff beginning with Bill and Vie were total servants to all of us! The gift was excellent and plentiful. The worship was great and the teaching, mostly from Sandy Adams and one by Phil Ballmaier really hit home. Praise The LORD!

  Not typically one to post reviews but this place definitely deserves one. My wife and i and son were invited to this church for a sunday service. As church was drawing near a close some man from the church walks up to us and asks us to please move to a quiet room. Being confused we follow the man who directs us to a dark corner room in the church. At this point we just left due to the unbelievable rudeness displayed by this man on behalf of the church. Our son was making no noise he woukd occasionally make a baby noise but they werent interrupting service or bothering anyone. I would just like to say that is the most un Christian behavior and we have never experienced such a level of rudeness in our lives. Im not sure if this is a racist church or if maybe they dont like interracial familes at their church if you could call this sham a church. I say none of this out of anger i just want everyone to have a fair warning about this place. Not friendly and totally un welcomed. Churches are supposed to be safe welcome places for families definitely not this place .

  I am reposting this comment from Brennan Young's review...below is a portion of his review and I am providing my take on the situation and you can choose for yourself on how the situation was handled. As Brennan Young's friend and the person that invited him, I will give my reasoning to why his review is not completely an accurate representation of what happened, and why Horizon Christian Fellowship was not completely out of line and the situation was a misunderstanding. I was not able to hear how the Young's were addressed, however, the original review was made before going back into the church and speaking with Pastor Bill about the situation and was posted out of anger and spite. "Not typically one to post reviews but this place definitely deserves one.......Churches are supposed to be safe welcome places for families definitely not this place ." -Brennan Young IF INTERESTED PLEASE SEE THE WHOLE ORIGINAL POST BY BRENNAN YOUNG. I ONLY INCLUDED A PORTION OF THE REVIEW. Here we go...My wife and I invited Brennan Young his wife, and son to church. We met them at church and had to drop off our friends boys that are staying with us for Sunday school so the Young's tagged along as we walked to the different class rooms. Once we got done we went to the service which had started praise and worship so we missed the announcements and other information about the cry room and anything else that is usually mentioned before each service. Just like any other larger church, there is a large area in the back of the church in which parents with children that may be a distraction can go to quite their children as to not disturb other partitioners from the teaching. I however forgot to mention this area to the Young's before the service because we were already a little late to the service. This was their second time to H.C.F. with us and the first time back after having their adorable son. We made it about 75% through the service until the Young's little boy of 6 months old started making some possibly distracting stammering noises and a man from the church who I will leave unnamed quietly walked up and asked the Young's to come with him back to the cry room. I do not know how the conversation started or ended but I know it was done discreetly. The service was extremely moving and had an excellent teaching and the whole congregation was moved by the Holy Spirit. My wife and I completed the service picked our friends boys up from their Sunday school class rooms and the realized the Young's were out waiting in their car. We then made our way out and Brennan was upset and explained to me what happened and agreed to come in and talk with Pastor Bill. He explained he had put a nasty review online and so I said ok well let's resolve this like adults and go inside and talk with Pastor Bill so we did. When we talked with Pastor Bill, Brennan got more and more confrontational and his wife and I both tried to calm him down. He used multiple profanities and claimed the church was racist and against interracial families which myself Pastor Bill and even his wife explained that was NOT the case and that God and the church does NOT see color and does NOT exclude anyone from his teaching or Kingdom and that the church as a whole is very diverse and Brennan needed to calm down. Pastor Bill apologized on behalf of the church and the unnamed partitioner that asked them to follow him to the cry room. Brennan did not want to discuss it and wanted to make rude comments so the question was asked what type of action he wanted to take and he said he didn't know so we ended the conversation and said if he wanted to come back and sit down and discuss what happened and that we were sorry and he was more than welcome to come back. I chatted with both Brennan and Pastor Bill separately later and I feel that Pastor Bill and the church handled the situation appropriately from my view. Side note: The cry room has a full view of the church and has audio of the service in the room. The room is kept dark for the privacy of nursing mothers and to help calm babies.

  Great, warm, inviting people. They have a great kids program that includes AWANA club. There is a Wednesday fellowship meal with Old Testament study that follows. Sunday service structure leads a Christian through the Bible book by book versus topically.
