They preach a truthful message about God's grace and our salvation. You would not leave this church unsure about what they believe or where you stand. The entire congregation stands up every service and recites their beliefs out loud. No room for misinterpretation there. They also encourage children to be IN worship...the same service as the adults, not some dumbed down Children's version in another room (though Sunday School is divided by grade level). They make a point to not just welcome children, but to involve them. Every service has a Children's Message before the sermon, where kids are invited to the altar to hear a message designed for their understanding. It is not an intimidating place for a first timer and anyone from any background is fully welcomed. That doesn't mean the church preaches an 'anything goes' message, but it does mean that all are welcome at the foot of the cross and that your sins are no greater or lesser than anyone else's...including the Pastors. The Pastors don't lord over you or live a different life than their congregations. They don't enrich themselves out of the offering plate. They are just regular people who have the gift of preaching (and a seminary education). They are married and have kids. They live normal lives which gives weight to their preaching...you may even see them having a few pints at Oktoberfest. But above all, they acknowledge they are sinners in need of saving just like the rest of us...God isn't hearing their prayers more than anyone else's, letting it be known that we are 'in this together'. They practice two sacraments, baptism and Real Presence communion (not symbolic, but more like Catholic belief). Maybe the most important aspect is this: there is are multiple Bibles in every pew and they are opened and read at every service. There are no gimmicks, just Gospel.

I went to a volleyball open gym and they wouldn’t let me play because of my age. There was one lady who thought she ran things and specifically told us to leave. I thought they would be accepting of me and my culture but I guess not, they thought they were better than me.

I went to an open gym for volleyball and I noticed other people who were apart of the church(I over heard them talking about the church) were getting in more often than me ever though we decided to do a rotation. I also over heard specifically these two women talking about, I didn’t confront them but it definitely affected my experience. I read on google that the church was accepting of all people but I felt as though I was in a hostile environment. The women who were talking about me also was kicking out kids because they were too young. I WILL NEVER be attending ever again I hope anyone else reading this doesn’t have to go through what I did, please take this as a warning.

Very blessed to have found this church. We look forward to every Sunday attending here, and our kids love going too. There is a contemporary and traditional service but both have the same sermon. It is also comforting to know that the church is part of the LCMS and is committed to staying true to the Word.

I attended this church for the first time today and loved it! The teaching was Biblical, the people were friendly and there are many different programs available for me and my grandchildren. I will definitely be going back.

Gospel message, friendly people, many activities for all ages, wonderful music, contemporary and traditional service styles and services offered for both 3 different times each weekend. A place to call home.

Gone here for thirty years. Not sure really how to review a church. Definitely has been investing in improving it's service, building, and out reach. Would recommend?
