I’m writing to express a concern regarding the supervision of children during the summer program at Moodly Park. During a recent visit, some of the children were looking and talking about and bullying my daughter. This behavior is unacceptable and deeply concerning. These kids just arrived at the playground after sitting at a table by parking lot the staff should really talk to these kids before letting them play where other kids are . What’s more troubling is that staff appeared to be sitting at the picnic tables on their phones rather than actively supervising the children. I believe stronger supervision is necessary to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all participants. If the staff cannot provide proper supervision while at the park, I would strongly suggest reconsidering whether this location is appropriate for the group. The safety and well-being of the children must be the top priority. This is exactly why I’ve grown frustrated with some summer programs. What should have been a fun outing for my family was disrupted, and we ended up leaving early because of the behavior and lack of oversight. It completely ruined our park experience. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed immediately it was a boy and two girls. Every child deserves to feel safe and respected — including mine.

Went to hear the story of Elizabeth Groff, who grew up in a Ukrainian orphanage. She was the recipient of an Operation Christmas Child shoebox and that gift and the love of Jesus transformed her life. Her testimony is so inspiring. Our small group at church is committed to being missionaries from Belleville who will pack more boxes and share the good news of the Gospel!

We moved to Belleville to be near family and after visiting churches for a few months, we stopped at Zion. The friendly welcome, solid Biblical teaching, Christian day school and youth ministry have been a blessing since 1994. When difficult times arose through the years, I was extra thankful for our amazing Zion church family.
