  Do I start from the beginning? I suppose. So, here we go... At the time of my transition to Enjoy Church (2021) I just moved back to Illinois from South Carolina. I was going through a very difficult/challenging time in my life...as we all do, right? I was in the middle of a divorce, finding a new job, finding a new home church, pretty much starting a completely new life. Which, was not easy. I was hopping from church to church finding the "perfect" worship band that "I" wanted to worship to. I even drove to Kansas City, MO, desperately finding this home church I longed for. Eventually, being so tired of driving to different places, not finding a perfect worship band, etc. I asked God, "Lord, I need a place with good worship, no one has what I am looking for! I need a church." God said to me, "Leah, you have a home church right here. It's not about how great the worship band is, but how you worship ME (HIM) with your heart." You see, I was desperate for change, desperate for a home church, desperate for friends, desperate for healing, that I finally was desperate to ask God that one simple question and HE answered right away. I am venerated to say Enjoy Church has been my home church since 2022 and the love I have for my church family is stronger than ever. I took the leap of faith that I was so scared to give. My faith in Jesus is stronger and keeps getting stronger. I can thank Pastor Daren for his wisdom, guidance, and knowledge for that. Pastor Daren teaches biblically and provides very unique analogies. Pastor Daren and Pastor Laura care deeply for God's children! Yes, that means you, too! Everyone is welcomed to the house of God. God wants you to have a safe place. Come feel the peace, love, unity, fellowship, and strength at Enjoy Church. This family has changed my life.

  Truth was spoken. Bible based sermon. Relevant for our lives. I left feeling encouraged and glad that I attended. Worship songs , mostly worship and enjoyable. The pastor was also sharp funny at times and definitely loves people. A true brother in Christ ..

  I’ve read a lot of reviews and been to about 6 different churches in the area… we love it here! The sermons are incredibly anointed! There is not an ounce of religion in this place. It’s about walking and living in the transformational freedom that is only found in Christ. Every church has nice people, but there is a beautiful maturity with the people that attend this church. What I mean is the love is deeper, the joy is richer and the understanding of truth rings loud. Don’t let the name fool you- this is powerful preaching that has the power to transform you. I’ve felt the fire of God reigning in my heart multiple times (not condemnation but that I was being more transformed into HIS likeness). My name is Sam and if you come, I’d love to meet you!   Used to go it’s been almost four months and not one call or email to check on us and see why we left. I’ll be quite honest, turn off was one of many first I friended the pastor on fb forgot I had some racy photos on my page next day at church he was acting super funny and weird ( that never changed ) then my daughter almost killed herself and I reached out to the senior pastor because I needed encouragement and was met with complete silence the weird pastor told me it’ll be a long time before I’m able to speak with him I declined to speak to the other pastor because after all the weirdness and judgment I felt anything but comfortable speaking with him. I won’t be back. A pastor watches over their sheep, the fact that this one is too busy to even care about what’s going on with his is sad. Left him a message in April the same day my daughter was committed to a psychiatric hospital and he never even bother calling me or checking in on me. Too much hype and in the end this church falls short on a lot. I’ll go back to skyline the pastor there is open and he’s been encouraging. Sad that there are churches like Enjoy that pain a pretty picture only to fall short on everything.

  Have to tell all of my experience this morning. As a per usual for me always a few min. Behind!! On my drive there, Chris Tomlin song "Our God" come on the radio. My father has been gone now for 5 Easters. We attended church together at Cornerstone Christian Church for years. He would serve there and it was hard for me to return to that church. So, this has been my excuse for not going for a long time now. Well on my way to Enjoy church today Daddy was speaking to me. To this day....I can hear my dad singing this song and his emphasis on the line of that song that says. AWESOME IN POWER! Awesome was his favorite word!! Then I get into service and worship is amazing! I think to my self I bet they can do some fast elevation worship songs! Next song they played RATTLE!!!! I HAVE TO GO BACK!! THANK YOU JESUS FOR SHOWING UP FOR ME TODAY!

  Enjoy Church has been growing so much. 20 water baptisms this past Sunday and probably 25 a month before. Pastor Daren, and Pastor Ryan from Alton, are amazing and their wives are great! All of the staff are terrific too like Pastor Eric and his wife, and Tina who oversees children’s ministry: she is the most loving and kind, AND always energetic person you’ll ever meet: no wonder the kids love her. The worship is contemporary: Zach and Keisha lead anointed worship. I think we found our home.
