I went to 8 AM mass there were really no other children there overall it was still a great experience my toddler enjoyed the time. It was nice experience. I would suggest going to the 10:30 mass if you want to have more family and children experience.

I visited this church for a wedding. The architecture of the building is awesome. It is a beautiful cathedral inside and out. There is so much detail on the outside. You miss a lot of the detail if you don't get close. Seeing the stained glass windows on the inside is amazing. Glad I had the chance to see the inside of this cathedral.

St. Peter's Cathedral is one of the most Beautiful places of worship! It has a very holy & spiritual atmosphere, one that you'll never forget. It is so worth the visit to this majestic house of worship.

Enjoyed the wedding service. Very nice church ( uh cathedral). Not as ornate as expected on the inside. But still a great wedding venue. Loved the pipe organ! Not enough of them left.

Great congregation. Family friendly. Kids, babies, all ages welcome in service. Beautiful church. High, vaulted ceilings and stained glass. Seating on both ends with the service held in the middle. Plenty of parking all around.

I am not personally of the Catholic denomination, but I do love this cathedral! We go here with some regularity for "No-Name Chorale" concerts (a VERY talented, professional choir that does free concerts for the community - look them up!) and the Cathedral of Saint Peter graciously offers its space for the group to call home. It's such a magnificent piece of architecture and history in downtown Belleville. If you are Catholic looking for mass in Belleville, or are interested in something like the NNC concerts or outreach programs the church runs, make a visit, it's beautiful!

I have been to St.Peter's Cathedral in Belleville, Illinois for a Belleville Philharmonic Chorale concert last year in 2024 in December and I was there to support my friend, Patricia Trent, who is a member of the Belleville Philharmonic Chorale professional choir and the Cathedral of Saint Peter is so pretty and beautiful on the inside and the outside, especially the stained glass windows.

This place is amazing. A stunningly beautiful Catholic Cathedral hidden away just a few blocks from main Street Belleville. I'm not Catholic. I don't think you have to believe in Catholicism or Christianity to be able to enjoy the peace and serenity of this place. Vaulted ceilings and giant stained glass windows are just a couple things this place has to offer.
