When I first visited this church I had a great time. On my third visit the "pastor" verbally attacked me out of the blue. He lied to me about saying that he spoke with my former pastor (I am new to the state). My former pastor said he had never spoken with him. I think the fact that I was curious about why the church left the denomination angered him. But it was his daughter who told me. I also will never just blindly follow a man. He wants complete devotion. Whatever he says goes, his way or no way. Thats not me! I will listen, go to the Bible, and pray about it. I will never follow a man. Men are imperfect. If we put them on a pedestal they will fail us every time. Unlike God who can never fail. This is just what happened to me and it was very surprising and hurtful. Even when confronted about the lies .... nothing.
