  Free Chapel is a truly inspiring place. The worship is powerful, the messages are uplifting, and the sense of community is amazing. Every time I attend, I feel encouraged, spiritually refreshed, and closer to God. The pastors and staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about people.   Decided to visit today. I was extremely impressed. Overall great experience. Great music, great praise and worship, and great teaching. Very diverse group of people and everyone was nice and friendly. Just a great feeling and atmosphere overall. I didn't know what to expect with a Campus location and watching the main teaching on the screens. I always avoided satellite churches because of my assumption was that it would be like watching church on your TV at home. I was wrong. This was a true church experience with an onsite Pastor, live music, praise and worship, communion, everything you would expect. When it came time for the main teaching on the screens you forget that you are watching a screen. Truly a great teaching and the full service lasted just under 1.5 hours. I will be returning and highly recommend that you give them a try.

Free Chapel provided comfort through both its facilities and its heartfelt support, and we are eternally grateful. We were able to honor our mother in the most profound and meaningful way possible through your generous donation of space. Your church served as a refuge, becoming a sanctuary for us as we said goodbye to a cornerstone of our family. We cannot express enough gratitude for the musical tribute that graced the service; the musician's rendition of our mother's favorite song, "How Great Thou Art", resonated with a beauty that transcended mere notes and melodies, touching the depths of our souls. For a moment, we felt united with her again as if her spirit danced within the chords. Each detail was handled professionally and empathically by church staff, qualities that were appreciated by all.   Beautifully maintained and a wonderful extension of the Gainesville church. People are friendly and welcoming. It's a nice touch to have a space where families can do holiday photos. It's wonderful to be a part of a blessed ministry and church!

  The worship music is amazing. I went for the first time for Father’s Day, and they brought a guest speaker in a new movie Top Gun with Tom Cruise. I don’t come to church to hear about celebrities. They kept talking about the blue angels, and fighter Jets and his job and his family. I came to church to hear the word of God and a preacher preaching about God. The preacher wasn’t even in the church! It was a video they were showing us!!

  Always a welcoming environment, just be careful coming out as visibility on the road there is on a blind hill and a blind curve. The pastors are always super friendly and do their best to meet everyone. This is definitely a church of the people, I see all demographics and types of people here every time I visit.

  I have struggled with my understand of God and Jesus Christ. Free Chapel provides excellent programs to learn about God's love and forgiveness. How Jesus died for my sins. It's worth the trip and it's important to get involved. I'm glad I went, it's been a blessing for me and my family.

  I gave my life to God at this church after 27 years of addiction and mental health issues on may 8th 2022. Message was strong and people were friendly. Keep in mind sometimes you have to break the ice with people. You can’t expect everyone to just know it’s your first time there and expect everything to be handed to you. Get out of your comfort zone and speak up. I’m a 37 year old white male with tattoos from ankle to neck with gold teeth so trust me when I tell you sometimes you have to be the one to seek God and step to people. We are all equal. Thank you free chapel !!!!

  Not impressed. People at registration desk were friendly and welcoming. Even went out of the way to get us a gift for visiting. However, no one else said a word to us. Not even during greeting Worship was ok. Message was ok, but I have no idea who preached since he didn't introduce himself. Very unwelcoming to visitors.

  Hey gang, new friends that are visiting the area or churches for the first time. My wife and I don’t go here but we love the streaming messages/pastor Jentezen/guest speakers. Our friend who’s helped mentor us goes to the main campus and she’s one of the godliest caring people we know. We don’t know what Yeshua’s voice sounds like(audibly) but I bet it’s similar and kind like Jentezen’s! You want to encounter people who look and sound Jesus! And there’s always the multitude that follow, and there are the smaller “12 disciples” or small groups/house churches. To me this campus is a live stream and it’s awesome to have “widespread revelation” with the same pastor/speakers that speak to everyone, and then you have a local pastor and community. A lot of folks are bashing the church here about not sharing the word. But if you read in the Bible the Spirit and word are like water and food to the spirit. It appears that they sound religious but then attack this church for streaming, being loud, and everyone not saying hi, not teaching the Bible. But if you only get your relationship once a week or get your food once a week you are probably going to look most like a starving religious leader who Jesus spoke against! We love you/FC guys as another part of the body of Christ and I pray whoever visits here will be blessed and encouraged and see where they can be a servant of Christ for the community and draw nearer to God! We do have a toddler and realized sometimes it’s hard for parents to visit a church w a large auditorium so it’s even harder for those w infants. That’s just a season!!! Use headphones(kids) and earplugs that are provided. Whatever you do don’t miss out on what God is doing thru these campuses because of your religious upbringing! Newcomers to the area, God is alive and wants to have a close relationship with you and with community. Don’t bash Jesus’ bride!!! Please be a friend to the bride of Christ! She is doing her best and will be pure and spotless!! She’s being sanctified daily don’t let pride and religious spirit deceive you!! Love you guys at Free Chapel! 😇😁🥰

  Amazing message at the service. However, that's where the good ends. I am simply astonished at how awful my wife was treated by one of the ushers. While saving a seat for me, the usher comes over to her and, in front of everyone, rudely insists that she needs to move (evidently sitting on the aisle was a no-no). So of course, she does. Strike 1. Before leaving, he firmly warns her he’s going to have to take that seat if I don't get there soon. (We're talking 5 minutes total time of waiting, folks). He walks away, THEN COMES BACK a few minutes later and has the nerve to repeatedly harass her about me not being there and him needing that seat. By this point, my wife is in tears, and absolutely humiliated in front of everyone. Unbelievable. I am outraged that something so disgusting and offensive could happen, especially INSIDE OF A CHURCH. A church that claims on its website "We are passionate about reaching souls for Jesus Christ and everything we do is about Him." Yeah, okay. I can't even imagine what someone who doesn't know God, scared and trying out church for the first time, would have done. Probably walked out never to return to any church. And we wonder why the world has the impression they do of churches. Just 100% offensive, ugly, and unacceptable in every way. Something like this should NEVER happen. Just a heads up to folks if you're considering trying this place out. Might wanna reconsider.

  Good place to get your ear drums blown out. And I’m not even talking about the obnoxious music they have blasting in the adult sanctuary, I sat with my child for his first visit in the ages 5-10 room and they had it like a full on loud (terrible quality musicians) concert (where the music was so bad, you can’t hear what their saying at all, it’s not for children, just some woman who thinks she’s Mariah Carey -who definitely isn’t! going ahhhhhooooeeeiiiahhhh) just loud ear r@pe! Ya I said it. I call a spade a spade. My child had to cover his ears. They gave him noise canceling ear muffs and he was still complaining that the volume was too loud. I complained, nothing changed. It was completely ridiculous. Even when the music stopped and they did the “tv message” the volume was so loud you couldn’t focus on the message at all, just the ringing in your ears. And when the guy got up to do his long winded kids sermon you couldn’t understand that either, just echoing loud gibberish through a microphone speaker. In a dark room! This is not what kids church should be. If that’s what the teenagers like so be it, but ages 5-10! Delicate little ears, church should be gentle and tranquil, not an over stimulating nightmare. Get a guy in Birkenstocks and cargo pants to sing camp fire style songs about Jesus, no loud speakers and sound board ran by 14 year olds (with no experience) required. If you want your kids to be deaf in 2 hours after a Sunday service by all Means send them to this monstrosity. It can’t be of god. God would want to protect little childrens ears and introduce them to worship in a gentle kid friendly way. In a way that involves them singing along to the songs so the loud microphone narcissistic singing noise isn’t needed. You could tell all the people on the child’s room stage had some kind of “I’m a rock star” complex. Idc if you do, go play a concert in a concert hall, have a concert night at the church for those who for some masochistic reason enjoy that kind of thing, and let regular people who are seeking a peaceful gentler but still fun environment for their kids, and adults whose like to be able to hear themselves think, and not have noise rammed down their ear canal from the moment they walk in, to be able to have a nice place to come hear a message and worship on sunday. truly don’t think my kids got anything out of church today. They came, they heard a loud confusing indecipherable self absorbed noise being assaulted on their ears by sadly unaware adults that clearly have zero common sense in a dark room, and they left wondering what happened. I’d hardly call that church. It was just a strong dose of anxiety. God is probably cringing every Sunday wishing this church would make it stop, gain some common sense, and put on a actually age appropriate noise level appropriate service for children. I talked to the “youth pastor”; and his defense was “we have a standard to keep it at a ‘safe’ 80 decibels!” Oh great you keep it at 20 decibels less than a jet taking off! Good for you! Idk honestly I’d compare it to being a lot closer to a jet taking off. It was as loud as a football game in a packed stadium after a touchdown. I feel like everyone these days has completely lost their minds and good taste. And apparently their ability to hear. And this is all coming from someone who spent the better part of their teens and early 20s at loud concerts every weekend and usually chooses to listen to loud heavy metal when by myself with out children around. I hope that puts some perspective on this complaint. Children should be in a lit room singing along and able to hear their own voices to classic childrens christian songs. Not just a mini version of the trendy bad quality pop concert mega church. Yuck! Music should have notes, melody, not just sound like a conglomerate of wailing and like someone turned 4 completely different songs on at the same time and just cranked the volume up to 80! I was really disappointed to say the least. I didn’t think I would need ear plugs and noise cancelling ear muffs to go to church.

  Love this church. Pastor Franklin was awesome at the Christmas Eve 4:00 PM service. Singers and band have such talent. If you are looking for a new church I would recommend you visit Free Chapel.
