  Attended service today, 061426. Members are so welcoming! Music “AWESOME”, not blaring. It was all about Jesus and not about playing popular songs. Scripture was included (on the screen) with the words of the song to explain the message of the song. The pastor’s message is scripture based, well-presented, and to the point. The pastor is obviously led by the Holy Spirit. He must spend quality time in prayer after what we experienced in the service. My husband and I are from Louisiana visiting family. I searched online for a baptist church in the area. Jesus led us here today. Thank you, Jesus, for loving us. 🙏🙏🙏

  Very friendly and welcoming people. Visited back in June 2022, been attending since. I am very impressed and inspired to know there are churches like this still exist. Strong Bible based church. Alter calls very Sunday. Worship music is blend of contemporary, gospels, and short mixed in with traditional hymns, and with choir. Worshipful service😇🙏🙏 Multi cultural and multi generational as well. However, I am still getting used to raising my hands during worship. My first Baptist church experience… I guess, God is definitely moving in this place.

  Great church. Very warm and welcoming. Lovely building with beautiful stained glass windows. Personable pastor and staff. Kind people to greet you. Clean building. The sanctuary is very inviting. Structure is nicely designed. I enjoy worship here. The singing is really great. They have groups for all ages, vans that help with transportation, childcare during service. I'd recommend it.

  I love this church! I am a Christian student and have been coming here for 6 months. I was baptized by Pastor Nathan yesterday! They have a great youth group too. Everyone here is so nice and welcoming! This is the place to be!

  I started going here back in August (2022) and have been here since. They are very biblically sound and don't shy away from the truth. They stand firm in their theology. They have a great college ministry for all students and hold different events just for them. The staff and congregation are very welcoming and very inclusive on making sure you feel welcome. Highly recommend if you are searcing for a new church family.

  Talk about a great church, this Baptist Church is beyond amazing !!! I went here for the first time this past Sunday and I was amazed. The people greeted me and the pastor took his time before the sermon to get to know me because I was new. I met a lot of people and got introduced to the college kids and college preacher as well. He was great. He texted me and wants to get to know me more. This is amazing I will be back soon !!! GOD BLESS

  Dr Mills and his staff personify how good Christians should be. We have a congregation that is welcoming and friendly. We have but one mandate: we only accept sinners! Our mission is to spread the Good News throughout the Athens area and beyond. Come for a visit. We have a Sunday school class just for you beginning at 9:15 a.m. Just let the greeter or anyone coming in know you are visiting and they will take you from there. Sunday services begin at 10:30 a.m. so if you are just coming for the service, same thing. Let someone know you are a visitor and we'll make you feel at home.

  Pastor Joe and his church really made our family feel very welcome. We experienced a fire and the church came through in a very big way I'd never imagined such care energy and genuine concern. We were truly blessed to have BEECH HAVEN CHURCH as part of our family

  What a great place to learn, understand and grow as a person as a believer and citizen. The experience that me and my family have had coming here moves me every time we return there is so much loved and understanding and experience that anyone could come and not feel embarrassed about anything. God is Love and there is definitely Love felt here so God must be here as well. 😃 💘 👪
