I enjoy gathering at The Resting Place Church. I get the sense of belonging and with family. I discovered a new passion for worship through painting. I was never a painter before until Abby R. came up to me and shared her experience and gave me encouragement to paint. BEST DECISION EVER! God is present when we worship as a family, I personally never experienced that to the full extent until I started attending The Resting Place. If you need prayer there is always someone there to pray with or for you. You never feel alone at this church. I pray more people find this church or any of the other locations close to their home, we all have a purpose in life. Let’s find it together! See you soon ❤️

Matthew 9:38- pray the Lord of the Harvest hurl laborers into the field (paraphrased) The Resting Place Church Tampa does exactly that. Equipping and empowering the saints to do the work of the ministry is the name of their game and they do it well, with a spirit of humility, fervent love, pure hearts, and the utmost integrity. These leaders are hands down bar none!!

I have been going to The Resting Place for about 5 years. I had never really felt “At home” in any church for the past 15 years, but as soon as I walked through the doors after being greeted by the sweetest people, my heart and spirit finally felt at home and a complete peace💗 I have been able to find an incredible community of loving people and my relationship with God is in a beautiful place! I love my tribe and I love my church🎉🥳🎉 God’s NOT mad at you, He’s madly IN LOVE with you! He thinks you were to die for💖

We've been going to this church for almost a year. It is the most spiritually healthy church I've ever experienced. The people are genuine and will meet you where you are. They love like Jesus loves. They don't judge. They honor and empower you to be your best and to do the work Christ wants you to do. This is a Holy Spirit inspired and driven church. Caleb Hyers (the leader of The Resting Place) is a gifted leader with Biblical knowledge and wisdom way beyond his years. I learn so much every week! Teaching and preaching straight from the Bible...but things you probably never heard from a preacher! I encourage you to come and experience Holy Spirit, and the people, the love and teaching at this incredible church. It really will change your life! (I am doing this review on my own. No one has asked me to do it.) Google doesn't list the service times but they are Saturdays at 6pm, Sundays at 9 and 11:15 am and a Spanish service Sunday evening but not sure of the time, I think it's 6.

My family and I love everything about The Resting Place Tampa. Our girls love Sunday school and my husband and I have formed great friendships with many of the people. Everyone has always been kind, loving and you can tell everyone genuinely cares about you.

The Resting Place community is doing things RIGHT! Their leadership and senior pastor are some of the most studied, passionate, and revelatory people I've ever met. You can both see and feel the fruit of this ministry every time you visit, watch the the live stream, or interact with the members this church! Amazing for families, singles, and folks of all ages. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

Felt right at home, very friendly and helpful. They minister to single moms, the homeless, nd many more ministries, They have a pantry with baby formula and many other items. They preach the good news of Jesus Christ and salvation. Praise the Lord

I attend this church. Caleb Hyers tells the truth without watering it down and teaches directly from the Bible. The leaders and members are friendly and loving. They have the Provision Center where free formula is given to those in need. I sampled several churches when I moved to Tampa and didn't feel like I belonged until I went to The Resting Place.
