I greatly enjoyed visiting St Patrick's Anglican Church this morning. Great, traditional Anglican service that uses the 1928 book of common prayer. Father Michael Kerouac serves here, but was away with family this morning. Father Tim Gouge provided the sermon with a teaching on Jesus’ appearance to the disciples after the resurrection in John 20. Great sermon, and great, friendly congregation. They have a potluck lunch after services and invited me to join in. Hardy meal with leftovers from the previous day’s breakfast served for the church’s veterans and first responders ministry!

A beautiful and loving church near the Port St. John-Titusville boundary, with the most social and welcoming congregation I've ever seen. A church that balances firm, ancient and unchanging belief, with an openness to answering questions about and explaining those beliefs. After 5+ years of membership, I think the best way I can think to put it is that at this church you can expect traditional, orthodox, and serious theology in the Anglican Tradition, but with a pastoral, patient,, relaxed, and forgiving application, focused on taking people wherever they are, and guiding them in their growth. If you visit on a Sunday, you can always be sure of a reverent Eucharist, a good sermon, study of the scripture, a good coffee, good food, and merry conversation.

This parish is so welcoming. You feel the overwhelming love of Christ at St. Patrick's. It's truly a family like community with a children's Sunday school and outreach to veterans and spouses with breakfast once a month at the church.
